I bet Conan used a pill for returning during staying in London since he always not listening to Ai-chan, maybe Agasa brings some extra pills secretly.

Since Conan-kun loves football too, why don't he tour Wembley Stadium or go to watch London Derby, Chelsea VS Arsenal. He may see superstars like Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, Cesc Fabregas and others, since real-life football legends Roberto Baggio and Franz Beckenbauer are mentioned in the world of Detective Conan.

It would probably be a problem drawing these celebrities in a manga. Conan also doesn't seem to be a fan of any European club in particular, just individual players, so Wembley staduim doesn't really mean anything to him.

The story in the newest file looks interesting, but also extremely stupid.

1) The old lady thing - which British person will invite strangers to her country and pay everything fot them? The reason about her "detective" obsession is not normal. It really looks like a trap for me...or Gosho isn't that creative as we think.

2) Conan's excitement isn't surprising (we all know he's a little freak), but I don't know why Ai let him go with 2 pills. She knew that it's dangerous. Normally she would say to him: Too bad, you can't go, deal with it, I won't help you, because I know you will do something stupid. Btw how is it possible that new pills have a 24h duration, but the last time Shinichi stayed with his normal form only for less than 4 hours??

3) Ran and Shinichi's argument - completely nonsense. -_-' But it looks like there will be something about them, so I'm actually glad. I'm waiting for a great ShinxRan moment.

4) English people speaking Japanese - soooooo lame... Japanese isn't THAT popular language, so what the hell...?! Gosho's English is weird - "because it thrills me". Which normal child would say that? I like it, because it's exciting sound much better...

Porbably the woman with the cat is the Boss and is was a trap from the BO. There was something with hearing a cat in 329.

That's the same as every other date in the series.  It's when the chapter either comes out or was worked on, and since we know Gosho took a break last month to do research, I'd say it's the latter.

Couldn't he just take the pills in his pockets? I never got my pockets checked before boarding a plane. They're just a couple of pills, not a bag full of them.

Regarding the old lady, yeah, her attitude was suspicious. It's weird that Conan didn't see it that way. I also inmediatly thought of the BO and Itakura after seeing the cat, but that might be because we were just discussing about that fact. Also, it doesn't mean the old woman is Vermouth. As I stated in Chekhov's thread, we don't know if the woman with the cat on the phone was Vermouth or not.

As if she could stop him outside of physically knocking him unconscious and binding him up in the basement.  At least this way Agasa can't get in trouble for forging a government ID.

Well, it might be a trap by the BO, or Vermouth wants to bring him to London on her own agenda, so that he can foil the plans of the BO. There aren't many people who can disguise themselves successfully in DC, Kairo Kid wouldn't make sense nor would Yukiko. And if she's Vermouth, then this cat might be Chekhov's gun finally going off.
It's still too early to tell, but I'm fairly sure both this woman and Ai are up to something. I mean, come on, Ai suggests that Shinichi take a pill? She is the voice of reason and then she lets Shinichi take such a huge risk with no good reason?Doesn't make sense.Maybe she's staying at the Yoshidas' because she wants to nick Ayumi's passport. She definitely needs one if she wants to go to the UK.

It's actually weird that absolutely NOBODY thought that it's suspicious. Especially Ai! Everybody thought that it was sooooo normal that strange old woman invites strangers to her house, because she was so thankful of finding her cat. :/ I guess it's kind of trap - either planned by BO or Shinichi's parents - OR Gosho just didn't have any better ideas how send main characters to Europe.

I'd give him an idea. Kogoro could have actually worked on finding the cat, and not just happen to be were the cat run off to (the woman seemed to come out of the toilet, so it appears the cat didn't run off that far, either).

I like your idea about cat, but I guess Kogoro now has soo huge ego that he won't ever accept that kind of case to solve. Maybe if she paid him a lot of money...but then why she would invite them to her house anyway??

Ai always gave Conan pills only when it was necessary. In Shiragami case Conan got a pill from Agasa, who invented drug against flu or something like that. Unfortunately it was Ai's drug. Second pill Ai gave Conan just because she wanted him to go back to his house safely without making other people suspicious. It's reasonable.

This case is really weird. I hope Gosho will explain everything later.
