I was bored so...

Post by kkslider5552000 »

I decided to see how I could put all of the episodes based on the manga (and a couple of other cases) into arcs. (I'm sure no one minds that I took a few of the names of the arcs from this site)

Intro: 1-13

Nothing Really Important Happens: 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 23, 27, 28, 31-35, 38-40

Maybe Some Plot: 42, 43, 46, 48-50, 52, 54, 57, 58, 60, 63, 68-70,

Never-ending Cases: 72, 75-78, 81, 82, 84, 85, 91, 96, 98-105, 112-118, 121, 122

Haibara: 128-131, 136-139

Character development: 132-134, 141, 142, 144-147, 150, 151, 153, 154, 156, 157, 162-168, 170-174

Pisco: 176-178

Desperate Revival: 188-195,

Character Development 2:199, 200, 205, 206, 212, 213, 217-224

Jodie, English Teacher: 226-231, 233, 234

A Short Break (before more plot development): 238-244, 246, 247, 249, 250

Jodie and Others: 253, 254, 258, 259, 263, ova 2, 266-272, 274-278

Rotten Apple: 279, 280, 284-288

Character Development 3: 289-293, 301, 302, 304-306, 312, 313, 316, 317

Dark Contact: 307-311

Hattori Heiji’s Desperate Situation: 323-327

Vermouth (since I have not seen most of these, it would be funny if only a couple of these episodes actually have Vermouth): 329-336, 338-341, 343-347

Character Development 4: 350, 351, ova 4, 354-356, 358, 359, 361, 362, 366, 367, 371, 372, 374, 375, 381-383

Cell phone (and some other stuff too): 385-387, 390, 391, 394-396, 398-402, 406-408, 411, 412, 415-417, 418, 421, 422,

Black Organization Returns: 425, 427, 428

Deep Suspicion (and Character Development 4.5): 429-432, 435, 436, 438, 443-447, 449, 453-455, 457, 458, 460, 462-467

Character Development 5: 469, 470, 472-474, 476, 477

Vital Prospect: 479, 484, 485, 487, 490

Clash of Red and Black: 491-504

Artificial Veneer: 507-511

Character Development 6: 505, 506, 513-517, 520 (if it's an AO...maybe not 520 =P)

The Revival: 521, 522

that's just confusing and stupid  >:(

also, you clearly didn't read the part where this topic was about arcs. Or where I made fun of the pointlessness of alot of the earlier episodes. Or the part where I basically said I only made this because I was bored.

Oh? I'm not exactly happy with the format myself. There's some other continuity that develops the characters but don't fit my flags (like {early story spoiler})
Spoiler:
how the suicide of the Moonlight Sonata culprit leads to Heiji getting shot...
On the other hand, just flagging the episodes I think are worth noting for their development of or nods to continuity wouldn't be very useful to all the "it's all filler and Org. plot 'fans'"... Also, I never have been consistent differentiating "minor" references and clues from multi-page developments. I'm not motivated to do any major revisions though. Not without constructive criticism.

It would've been nice if Kosagi hadn't abandoned her continuity chart when she decided that the manga "timeline" (maybe "order of events" is a better term) was linear.

Heh, and, yes, GinRei, Return2 will get "D" and "R" flags...  ;)
