Maybe Gin isn't the real Gin, but "The Raven" in disguise again.

Really could've just said that and summed it all up.

Maybe "The Raven" is a rouge BO agent that can easily disguise as someone else (like Kaitou-Kid), and goes off on a murderous rampage around the city.  Maybe the Satou that had the knife was "The Raven" disguised as Satou, maybe Chianti thought the Satou was "The Raven" in disguise (or maybe knew it), and that is why she is going to shoot her.  Maybe Gin isn't the real Gin, but "The Raven" in disguise again.

Why shouldn't effective tricks be reused? Writers making heroes forget effective strategies just to avoid "being repetitive" are lame. Conan would probably use the new temp cure, though. Though I agree it would be lame for it to work to the point it would make Gin give up his suspicions of Conan and leave everyone alone, rather than simply track down Shin'ichi's friends and relatives to torture them for information about Shin'ichi's whereabouts (then killing them and/or using them as bait).

I agree with the others that the trailer is probably just splicing scenes together to make a filler story like movie 5 seem like it's really going to develop the canon plot, though. There's no reason to get too excited unless Aoyama reveals he did the basic plot for the movie, or TMS says Aoyama was getting so "boring and repetitive" they decided to end the anime with a story from "better" writers...

This actually really good and quite possible. If the movie does play out like this, I hope the give "The Raven" a decent motive to justify him/her betraying the BO and causing chaos in the city.

I heard that the first Naruto Shippuden movie has Naruto dieing (although I have no seen that movie and know nothing about it except that Naruto dies) but that obviously (unfortunately =P) doesn't happen in he anime so...

maybe this movie is like what would happen if they found out about Conan's identity?


I will not see this movie because either the trailer is a lie or it will make certain things that eventually will happen in the anime seem less original/awesome.

Omg...  Raven is Hakuba!  No wonder he was always chasing Kid!  And now he's lost it.

He did die... in the vision of the future this girl saw.  All her visions came true.  Except Naruto has the power to "change his destiny", so instead of dying he just had a couple of Shadow Clones go poof.

I dont think the scene with Gin and Conan is a cut. Just one of those change of scene things to make it more dramatic...but something bout it being a movie seems really fishy
On the other hand, it might be possible to wrap up DC in 4 months...Gosho COULD release manga chapters that correspond with the movie but who knows...I don't even think it's possible to end DC x.X It seems like there is no good exciting way to conclude it..but who knows.

The manga and movie will not coincide.  Either way, one of them would lose money.  Either the manga finishes out the story first and the number of people who go to see the movie drops, or the movie airs first and the number of people who buy the manga drops.

My guess:
The movie is actually a huge plot summary of everything that is happened so far:
-Gin seeing the Detective Boys in the mirror = the part where Conan and Haibara encounter Pisco.
-Haibara saying everyone Conan knows is in danger - the Desperate revival part.
-I can't explain Gin saying Shinichi is a kid, my best guess is that the scene he says that in is actually a dream Haibara has and so is the scene with Gin and Conan

I think this movie will be a large summary of everything that happened with the Black Organization and that most of the trailer is simply a teaser, it actually has little to do with the plot.
