I don't think so, he hasn't been doing much since he got married to Yumi. But I do belive he's going to transfer to Tokyo soon, I hope he's not after Megures position, poor Megure wouldn't have a chance

Even if Yamamura is able to get Megures position I don't think it will affect Megure much. I think Megure will simply take over Matsumotos position. It doesn't look like he will wake up anytime soon since being in coma after saving Ran from the explosion in 627.
