i dunno but is this 'head' thing just like a guide for some1 to draw body and limbs thats directly proportional to the head?

I think what u found has to be the perimeter of a child´s head.... I just measured the height of mine and that´s only 23cm... and i´m way older than 5
And even for the perimeter it would be quite a lot... I´ve got 58cm and my head is above average for a girl(I figured that out when i last tried to buy a hat... 
)I know manga characters got way bigger heads than real people but I can´t imagine a 5year old´s head being that huge.

Yeah, when you google head size it talks about the circumference, not the height. This is because no one except an artist really cares about the length from chin to the top of your head, but many people need hats.
