Cheap Online Storage?

Post by cocomonk22 »

Does anyone know of a good online storage system that is cheap but can store many GB? It can't be something that checks the PC for any changes to files because I'm backing up an external hard drive that isn't always plugged in. The reason I'm asking is that my brother dropped a 500GB external a few centimeters up while it was plugged in.  :o Luckily it still works for now.

Oosah lets you upload 1tb of video, photos, or music.  Are you looking for other data storage? As far as cheapness, Oosah is free.

I will check it out, thanks  :)

Edit: Tried it, but it works good for storage, but every file can only be downloaded individually, which makes it poor for restoring lost data. Is there any way for it to download entire folders or multiple files at once off the server?

http://lifehacker.com/5100226/gladinet-mounts-web-storage-apps-as-virtual-drives?skyline=true&s=x talks about mounting online storage as a virtual drive.  That would make online storage work and feel like a very slow hard drive.  Don't think it works with Oosah, though.
