hmm..the live action special #2 wasn't half bad

I watched it for the first time last week and I was pretty impressed. I really don't think things could work with shinichi as conan, it would be ridiculously corny. I also thought Shinichi was mildly corny at times too with his "cool" attitude. oh well, that kinda stuff drops girls in japan so no problem. lols @ the way shinichi runs.

Don't you think that Ran was a bit too "clingy" with Shinichi?

I also thought that Miyano's character portrayed her as too close to Shinichi. I have NEVER seen Haibara/Miyano hug/grasp Shinichi/Conan like that in the manga/anime.

I did like Kogoro's actor. Great way to represent Kogoro, though I wanted to see Conan use the watch on him.

Omg japanese acting, it cracks me up everytime.

Good for laughs, can't take in high doses though, it hurts my brain.

ive seen some mystery drama made by the japanese, they are actually really gd if they dnt try and imitate manga characters

It was more entertaining than the first one, IMO.  However, after seeing both, I've figured out that kicking objects at criminals to stop them isn't as awesome as the anime and manga makes it look.  Strangely enough, I'd like to see another live action special even though they're kind of laughable.
