i'm wondering cause i heard some people are trying to translate the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya for the psp.
but they put the project on hold to translate a few other games. anyways if anyone knows a Conan translation patch.
or any other Detective Conan video games translated or non-translated. either or.
i also want to have translate game for this.. us of now.. the gameboy color games is what i have.. but sad to say.. even in the romhacking site i visited doesn't have or maybe no one will going to translate it.. T.T

Where did you hear about this? Have any sources? I only know that the DC Wii game is being released in Europe.
UPDATE: I did find something on IGN's Wii site about the DC game, and the release date shows TBA 2009, but doesn't specifically say if it's the European release or possibly could be the US release date. Anywho, here's the link to view that page:

This idea creeps me out, because when you made this topic, not only was I gonna suggest the exact same thing, but I was even preparing the topic with uploads of the games. Maybe you're some long lost twin who subconsciously conceived this idea when I did
Anyways, there are some DC gbc games that were actually translated and patched, but unfortunately, I can't patch them myself. The PS1 games, however, have no signs of people wanting to patch them. Maybe it's because it's almost impossible to find them as an ISO image file.

There was a US based pdf (which no longer seems to be up) from the same company that had it set as Q4 2008. Since it's a company that deals with consumer demand, their Q4 likely ends in January or February. The release date on the official site says January 29th I believe. That may specifically mean the European version, but it's likely the "international from Japan" release date.

Well, kind of like what I mentioned in the update in my last post. IGN currently has it as TBA 2009, but does not show release dates for either Japan, US, nor Europe. I only know that Europe is the only one outside of Japan that is getting the game. I've been trying to Google this to see if anyone else has any news of a possible US release of the game.

Gamefaqs.com currently has the Detective Conan game listed to be released in America on Dec 31, 2007. Just scroll down to dec 31 for north america and it's listed there:
12/31 North America Build'n Race
Detective Conan
The Secret Files: Tunguska
I would probably take this information with a grain of salt though, because if you click on it, it brings you to the games profile on gamefaqs and then if you click the Data bar, it says it's being released in the United States by EA Germany and it isn't listed to be released in Europe yet on this site (http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/wii/data/937679.html). It isn't too often that Gamefaqs is wrong, but hey, ya never know.
"I hope when you upload the movies, that includes the few that I haven't seen, the quality I found of some of them looked like they were taken by a camcorder recording a TV playing a VHS of a camcorder recording a TV playing a VHS of the movie." -Akonyl
"One Piece has been halfway done for a while now so I'm going to bet that One Piece ends sometime after the end of the world but before Guts gets off his boat." -Nitan
Since we are on the subject, how do the DC games play?
Are they similar to the Phoenix Wright games where you go first find contradictions in people's alibis/testimony and then go to the scene of the crime in order to find evidence to help you figure out the crime and culprit?
The Faces of Evil
Trying to start a club about magical ponies!

Actually, GameFAQs is wrong quite often. It's like wikipedia, anyone can edit it. The only difference is that GameFAQs is a little more cautious about who it lets edit things, but not by much.

Where did you find the gbc games? I had been looking for them translated and had no luck,
I took a look at the GB Detective Conan game and attempted getting the script out to be translated. There are at least two tables of characters being used, possibly more since there are still problems with the hex-values not matching the in-game characters properly, perhaps due to use of hex codes to represent certain common strings to save memory.
Here are the contents of the table files used with WindHex32 EX. Some of the values missing are graphics rather than text symbols.
Spoiler: Table File #1 (Used in Menu)
