Also the argentina defense weren´t that aggro in the second half which gave us the most chances which leaded to three goals. For example Schweinsteigers run through three argentina players and his shoot between the fourht player and the goalkeeper.conia wrote: I was surprised myself Germany's tactic overwhelmed Argentina's tactic from the start. From what I know, Maradona watches the rival, so I'm still confused about that. Even I, doing some research, knew that Germany has (or at least shown today) perfect synchronity when moving. The defender line plus the center midfielders did this the whole match.
The German attackers pressured Argentina on our side, but our players kept not being fast enough to pass the ball, which led to losing the ball in our own side.
In the 2nd half, Argentina had its chance: Germany and Argentina stopped using their midfielders, so it became a match were both could take shoots at the goal. THAT was the moment: Argentina could tie the match or Germany make the gap bigger. We all know how that ended...
They concentrated on Özil and we on Messi, but it seems like it worked better for our team to had Messi under control unlike Özil who could give Klose the assist for his 14 WM-goal in total (congrats at this point).
As for the chances of the argentinas offensive players, thank god we had Neuer who held every ball which was shoot at his goal.^^;
But Maradona should have changed his tactic or some of his players earlier, then maybe the game would ahve take another turn.
