With this image we can finally prove that those two ARE Shinichi and Ran.... Sorry sstimson but I'm 100% sure of that. I'm an ultra fan of Kaitou Kid and that girl is not Aoko... Thanks anyway ^^ And thank you saorin for this image!! Maybe now it'll be easier to find where is it from   Where did you get it??

Found some evidence for the theory that that is a picture of Kid and Aoko. It is from here; http://myanimelist.net/character/13972/Aoko_Nakamori. This is what is says:

Ran Mouri from Aoyama's Detective Conan physically resembles Aoko

To me it looks like Ran's "Horn" is facing the wrong way but Aoko's faces that way.

I don't know where that picture came from, but the text isn't japanese, so even though they could be Ran and Shinichi we still don't know if they are from the show or any of its specials or some bootleg footage.

I swear I've seen that damned picture before.  The text on screen shows it would be either an OP or ED, but damned if I can find it.  If it were in japanese instead of chinese I'm sure I could find it, BUT...

Movie 12's side story?  That was a thai group.  As for APTX, I think that they'd rather not look at random images to read small blurry text.

As for deduction, I noticed something.  The smaller thumbnail and the bigger version aren't the same image.  The thumbnail has a red background, and only karaoke on the screen.  Not only that, but that one is in japanese (I think, I believe I see hiragana).  The larger one has a blue background and is in chinese.  They seem the only be seconds apart from each other due to Shinichi and Ran's placements.

Is it just me, or Aoko's horn was removed during the progress of the series?

And somehow, Aoko and Kaito's faces seemed to be drawn to look "younger" than that of Ran and Shinichi... or at least it seemed to me. The only two drawn to look exactly alike are Sato and Kobayashi. Without the glasses, I say you're dealing w/one person here

Nah, I'd say their the same picture with both edited backgrounds. It looks too familiar but impossible. I don't remember DC showing anything like too close. Probably fan made

If you look, in the small one Shinichi's mouth is open, and there's a small gap between his upper hand and Ran's hair.  In the larger version, his mouth is closed and there's no gap between his hand and her hair.

As for seeing the hiragana, it's tiny but I can make out a few letters.  For example, the 5th and 6th letters seem to be ma and su.  Which means that word is more than likely a verb that's been changed to it's masu form.  However, it's so tiny overall it's hard to make out anything else.

Btw, Satou's look has definitely changed.  Look back around episode 149, 150 ish, and she looks SOO different than she does now.

Unfortunately, I don't know where I've got that picture from =/ But I saved it under its original file name which was "detectiveconanend259jr6cv.jpg" =/ So I also thought it was an ending, but I couldn't find one that would fit...

The strange thing is, I also found another version on my hard drive...and it looks like the small thumbnail, I think o,O It's this one:

Judging from the fact that Shinichi's position & facial expression change indeed, I don't think it's a fanart.
Maybe someone can read the text beneath it now! =D
Its file name was "ending25007conpioggia2lo.jpg"...So it's again "end(ing)" and "25", but I believe ending #25 is somewhat different, isn't it? >_< Confusing...


What's more, I've found three pictures that seem to be related to the other thumbnail that's being searched for.
The first one is bright_zero's icon...

You'll notice that Shinichi's clothing and the background (the bench and the train) match.
And I also found these ones:

The second one looks like the thumbnail, I guess. They were part of a video on YouTube, but the author didn't know where they're from either ._.

Perhaps someone is able to recognize the scene now, it's killing me xD

Drat, it's in chinese.  What I thought was hiragana was just small chinese kanji.  =(

Though, the odd thing is, seeing that version larger and crisper, it looks almost cell shaded.  That... isn't normal.  Perhaps it is just fan art, based on a somewhat similar scene from an OP or ED (but still different enough that we can't find it).
