Every time I see this thread, I misread the title as "Akai's Love Station."

Really, this confusion would not have happened if they just made the anime follow the manga.

In the manga, Episode 128 didn't happen.  The premise of Episode 13 ends with Akemi (who was disguised as the little girl looking for her father) being shot by Gin and dying.  No one gets arrested.

In the manga, Akemi died in episode 13?
Or she didn't die at all?

the former.

Basically take the last few minutes of 128 and have that replace the last few minutes of 13 and that was the manga version.

Oh, so that means Akemi died pretty early.
That makes the storyline a little confusing if you watch the anime and read the manga together..

and the real shinichi is Kaito...who has amnesia. his momma adopted him and convinced him he was her son. XD and his fear of fish comes form the fact he got amnesia from falling in the ocean and hitting his head on a rock with fish swimming around it.
