Maybe it's just because I went to public school, but having a scholarship at 13 seems a bit weird, much less needing one.Found wrote:It's not like I have a choice, I'm on a scholarship. Which isn't actually as good as it sounds. But yeah.milaneechan wrote: That’s very responsible of you!

Second year high school? Good luck! Good thing I made it out of there alive...and there was physics!Found wrote: I'll be gone for a while too. Well, not a while. See you on December or something. My school = hell.
Good luck with everyone's studies.I hope I can go through second year alive.
Seeing your post just made me remember that if I get a failing mark this year, I get deliberated even if my average grade says I pass...such a depressing thing to say to an upcomming third year with many hopes and dreams....

Me too. s: . I actually failed one of the most important subject ever - maths. -.- .ziraulo wrote:Second year high school? Good luck! Physics is fun, but Chemistry kills me.

I go to a science school for the.. er, 'gifted'? The entrance exam was hell, I'll give you that. So are the lessons.. and everything else. Anyway, I think it's their way of ensuring the next generation of scientists.Akonyl wrote:Maybe it's just because I went to public school, but having a scholarship at 13 seems a bit weird, much less needing one.Found wrote:It's not like I have a choice, I'm on a scholarship. Terms of the scholarship include picking a science course for college. Which I have no problem with, by the way.
No amount of apologies will express how much I regret it.

*snort* Gifted my ass! It should be called "Academic Hell". I'm in one as well, though I'm not in a scholarship. Speaking of which, did you know that some of my classmates actually plan to say "Hello Freshmen, welcome to (academic) hell!" when they see a freshman come through the gate?
@ Azu
Physics? Fun? ...Well, considering our teacher cracks a couple of jokes during class every now and then, it is kind of fun. But not the tests she gives; we consider those as murder weapons. I understand your chemistry problem, too. At first, it was easy, until we got to balancing the equation. *shudders*
Math isn't my enemy, though. It's pretty fun, not to mention that our teacher explains the lesson well.
Some of the things our teachers pulled last year:
Math: Teacher writes an equation on the board and tells us to solve. The catch? First ten who solves it gets candy. Considering that all of us crave sugar, it's bound to be a riot!
Physics: Teacher drew a man peeing as an example of trajectory. 'Nuff said.

Balancing equations are fun LOL. I'd like to think that that's the easiest part of them all. The part of writing equations and what it produces are hell. Especially the ionic equations. -.-. And the Acids Bases and Salts? s: .ziraulo wrote: @ Azu

The salts part are like @&%(@&%(@#%&@#, what soluble/insoluble, tritation or what separating methods, and Lead Barium and another start with C element not able to dissolve as;kfh;kashfk;afk;as /died.
Physics is pretty much common sense to me, like some laws? Angle of incidence = Angle of relection, Refractive index = Sin I / Sin R.
My Maths teacher is boring. s: . I take Additional Mathematics too. Its a miracle the school allowed me to, because I got 24/100 the previous year. -_-.
Trigo kills.

Re: Bye for a While
We don't use terms like "High school" here so..... I guess even if I were to be in "High school" I would'nt know
