I noticed the rules said that the BO vote at night and one can kill if none of the other BO is killing.
It also said if two BO members vote to kill different people, nobody dies.. Am I incorrect? o.o

At least, what I did is I picked up randomly the victim if there was a tie in the voting, but if nobody voted, then there was no asassination

OH, that would make a lot more sense! Cause the chances of multiple BO voting the same guy, is unlikely.
Unless they knew the other BO and discuss. Haha, I'm going to go look at your old games and maybe figure out some stuff. xD

Well, I usually used the principle to not kill newcomers on night 1 XD When I was BO. And killing a "good" player is risky for the BO too. Because those  "good" players will usually also be investigated. So those players that get attention are killing targets but also investigation/interrogation targets and thus also slandering targets

i never think that way before.. thanks. i just dont want people tired to be the first night target.

Well, if you can come online for 1 hour at least then it's good enough. In case you are BO you can give the leader or someone else from the BO "power" to vote and use you ability in your stead. And if you wanna change it, then you'll just need to PM your own order and you "substitute" is just in case you won't make it. Same goes for the case you're DB or a Friend or a lover (so another "group")
And if you're a "single" townie, then you could make a list of actions beforehand. For voting and abilities. And in case you are gone for some days for good, then I'll make you do random things >D

Well, that's my opinion. Since you can play mafia somehow but you just could miss some things/phases.

Yeah, it's fine with me as long as none of the players care. If you're able to vote/act, there's no reason why you shouldn't play if you want to. You'll just be at a disadvantage, not being able to participate in discussions or defend yourself.

And to xpon's request: As the saying goes, all is fair in love and war. So if the BO wants to kill me Night 1, go ahead. It's a valid tactic, but also a risky one as the BO should know such "important" targets are likely to have attention around them the first night (which is the entire reason I managed to arrest Holmes that one time, me and Kleene investigated people killing Callid).

I was reading the old games, and noticed this "Trickster" talk.
It made me confuse. Does everyone have to PM the GM with his command/objective to do it?

So for example:
If I was Gin, I would have to PM the GM who I want to kill?
If I was the "Trickster" I have to PM the GM correctly for effect? Like.. say "I want to trick ______ and tell him I'm doctor"




Sorry, just alittle confused.

Almost as you said. You have to PM the GM your action (depending on your role), but you don't have to tell the GM anything more...

I read it alll. For the trickster, it said:

How does he do the tricking? :O

OHH, and the tricking only works, if "xpon(you)" does something.. I see.
I'm guessing most of the other abilities work the same way..
