Long ago, I had long hair as well (not as long as now though) and after I cut it, I regretted it deeply.
One of the major reasons why I didn't want to join the army (even though it's the law), was because of my hair. So I went to a psychiatrist who helped me to not join. One of "conclusions" was that I'm mentally obssesive about my hair..........which is partly true actually

My maid has even longer hair.... seriously her hair goes till below her butt. I have NO idea how she keeps it as glossy as it is now. O___O
