No, 734 doesn't have any connections to the org plot as far as I can tell yet. It does however have the potential to be a long case.

It's pretty obvious Ran will freak when she hears "Shin'ichi Kudo" was murdered, provided Conan isn't with her when she hears about it, or she isn't too suspicious of him again. Some chance Okiya/Scar!Akai/etc... will be near when Ran freaks out, too.

Thank you, it is not "exactly the same name" - because there is a big difference between 工藤伸壱 and 工藤新一. Also, the Kudou Shinichi that the org. "murdered" was a high school boy, and not 43 years old. Pretty sure the org. will be able to tell the difference.

Well, at least it's starting to sound a little promising to me now. Like I said, I doubt the Org. is involved, but it would be nice if this became a suspicion case, but again, as I said before, that also seems highly unlikely.
