The Scar
In File 667, do you think that the one who save the lady is the dark-skinned man? Did Gosho make it seem quite obvious in the way he draws the boy in the lady's memory?
Moreover, he even makes the brown-haired man quite suspicious, giving him such looks and words.
In my opinion, Gosho must be planning the whole thing to make us think so, but in the end will give us a surprising ending right? Since there seems to be only 2 suspects in this case. If my above ideas are wrong, then the most potential one to surprise us is the butler.
Sorry for the awkward english.

Re: The Scar
But didn't she say, that the skin of the boy was just brown by the sun? And his main skin were white?
So it could be, that the light skined man is her saver!

Re: The Scar
Just thinking:
So two kids are walking along the sidewalk near the cliffs. A car comes rushing from behind them.
The kid will most likely push her away or protect her somehow (since he's all lover boy in personality LOL). Since his body is facing her, most likely his scar is on the back.
More thinking:
So you're holding a Katana facing off a police officer. You manage to slash his eye, then somehow you got disarmed (pwnd by kungfu skillz). You either a) turn to run away, or b)back away
I really doubt Matsumoto would slice the guy on purpose (Katana = decapitate most of the time). He probably just did it as he was disarming the guy. I would guess the slash would be on the front.
But then this is only the first part, usually it becomes clear by the second chapter lol.

Hey, I have an idea, let's have a THIS SUCKS / NO THIS SUCKS / NO YOU / NO YOU argument for a couple pages, that will really be great. - Ingmar

Re: The Scar
It' the butler, because:
a) same age like the woman
b) he has that special 'Conan-glasses'-look in the background - screaming 'I have a secret' or 'I know something
you dont know'
c) he says both can be fake
d) he's already with the woman cause he is sooooo in love with her, that's why he sticks to her
Now we just need a little bit drama why he wasn't able to tell her the truth... something like the rich girl - poor boy - snobbish parents - story
Ran will love it.

Re: The Scar
this is the first time Gosho did one with only 2 suspects, right? if not, rarely then.
i say it's the dark skinned, Gosho is tryin to make us think too much.
of course i do feel it is not them 2 at all.
lol and it's also funny how when the woman had the flashback and they showed the dark skinned boy and i thot 'omg is heiji' XD

Re: The Scar
I think it's very possible the butler saved her
. The brown-haired looks more like a greedy man rather than someone who saves people. The dark-skinned, this is funny and lame
, is not given the "handsome look" (big eye, Gosho's style on a lot of "handsome" characters), while the lady insists that he is 'handsome'. Anyone thinks this is gonna be a long case (>3 files)? It seems quite serious but not complicated enough to be a long case (who are there to kill? even if one person, somehow, is killed, it is still the simple kind of case, unlike the serie murder we all love
)

Re: The Scar
I am so sorry
. Never knew that the discussion already started on the other thread.
If the butler is the savior then the most surprising killer of the case in the past must be the dark-skinned man then. Since Gosho already misdirected some to think that he is the savior ...
But, if the blind lady can sense that her savior is in the room at that dinner, why has she never sensed her butler is the one? and the reasons for his hidings aren't very convincing...

Re: The Scar
a vote for the butler for me too, it would seem odd that the one who save the lady would come back after 30 years at the sound of money. i mean he at least cares enough for her to save her life. if he is to do something like this it would be very ungentle men like
.
also the butler seems to really care for her. whats with the worrisome look, accusation of the two candidates, accepting to be her butler just by her father asking and really just the general care for her well being and all. this kind of leads me to think that he was the boy from 30 years ago and have been around her since then (or he searched for her and found her 3 years ago and the lady's father realizes who he was and asks him to take care of her after he dies), and he didn't want to tell her after he found out she was going blind because (insert random reason)
and oh ya, maybe she knew the butler was the one all along and just went with it until now. this whole thing might be a set up to bring the butler into the light

Re: The Scar
But if the butler is it why didn't he told it the lady?
Or is it just such a typical love story... "I don't want to tell her because it would look like I just wanna have the money! I just wanna be near her."
