As I watch more anime, anime becomes ruined for me

I never really had a lot of problems. Then again, I haven't seen a lot of anime. The only voice pairs I've encountered are:

* Momoko Asuka [Mo~tto! Ojamajo Doremi]
* Miyako Goutokuji [Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z]

* Doremi Harukaze [Ojamajo Doremi Castilian dub]
* Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya [Detective Conan Castilian dub]

The first never bothered me, but it was also a good year or more between encounters. The second was very noticeable. Probably because of the different genders. With the first, there were similarities but enough of a difference to distinguish. The second pair used the same voice for both with no change at all. However, I only encountered Mitsuhiko's during his short appearance in episode 176, so it may require more exposure before I make an opinion about it.

I watched DC with Spanish VA. It was like the toughest thing to get used to the Japanese VA...

Well the VA for Dr. Agasa is voicing a completely different type of character in To Love-ru.  He voices a very perverted principal in that series.

I remember another pairing I thought of.

* Ayumi...I mean, Amy (:p) [Detective Conan English dub[/b]
* Momoka Nishizawa [Sgt. Frog English dub[/b]

This one actually took me a while to piece together because of the different personalities, even though the voices are the same. One's just your normal child, and the other is...well, a crazy, love-obsessed teen. Would be fun if the roles reversed.

Shinichi = Usopp

And I first heard Usopp and then Shinichi.... took me long to get used to that X.x

Now that you mentioned it... Haha... But I didn't have the character confusion problem in this case... Their characters are pretty different and Usopp is way cooler than Kudo... That was sarcasm, btw.. But I think SogeKing is indeed cooler than Kudo...

I had the same character confusion problem with Vermouth (DC), Eva (Monster) and Lady with Scar (Black Lagoon)... The dominant character is Eva...

That was another one that was sorta funny, I also like how they're all blonde non-Japanese characters.

And the voice perfectly fits the blonde type...

Mitsuhiko = Anew Returner (Gundam 00) = Ion (Tales of the Abyss) = Florian (Tales of the Abyss) = Sync (Tales of the Abyss).

And...

Yao Ling (FMA) = Setsuna F. Seiei (Gundam 00) = Flynn Scifo (Tales of Vesperia Jap version)

Well, the only thing I ever noticed was Anna (Shaman King) = Ai Haibara (DC). And in this case, it fit quite well - they are so similar

Another example I was just introduced to is Conan = Dark PreCure (HeartCatch PreCure). It's just sounds like a deeper version of Conan's voice, so I can't really take her seriously now. Then again, I don't expect much from this show.

you know guys.. and girls...try to think this way for a moment


if you found out the same Seiyu (Voice actor or actress) do the others title that you know... check the voice quality and character... although the quite similiar.. most of them is different. that show how talented they were!

some times she can act like a spoil girl but on other anime she can be a though guy or what...

the variety is quite wide...so it always make me respect them more and more..

This hasn't been too much of a problem for me because the only VA i've seen in another anime was Yamaguchi Kappei (Shinichi and Kaito), and he was voicing InuYasha and Ranma, who were also cool.

Though apparently he also voices Chimchar in the Japanese Pokemon anime.

At the moment I only ever really watch DC and Studio Ghibli movies. I used to watch InuYasha, Ceres and Ranma... all stuff that I liked as a manga before as an anime.

Rather than watching a lot of anime and getting bored with it, i find it more irritating for having a lot of anime and never got the chance to watch them all...

Gosh, how i miss the time where i was still a college student...
