I kinda think Mitsuhiko would be a good match for her. He's a sweet kid, I think he'll easily be able to keep up with her intellectually when he gets older, and I think that if they do grow up together and he found out who she really was, he'd accept it. He's a good kid.

Of course Mitsuhiko is a good match for her. He is kind and friendly, and pretty smart for his age. He would pay more respect to Haibaras feelings and wishes - if Haibara asks him to stop with something because she thinks it is dangerous, he will listen to her.
He is reasonable and has no connections to the BO. He has accepted her personality. She is not indebted to him in any way. She trust him. He trusts her.

Being childhood friends is not bad (especially considering they know each other since about one year only right nor).

There are a lot of reasons why they would make a good match. And only few why they wouldn't.

okay,so he's good for her,but that's your opinion...to me he's not good for her,because she has a very complex and strong character and i really wonder if he's able to deal with her everyday...As you said if she ask him to do something,he'll obey to her,without any hesitaion...    until now i only see Haibara using Mitsuhiko (because he loves her) it's just too easy,even for her...

i don't think she trusts him that much... i never saw a proof that shows she trusts him more than conan or Ayumi...at least he's like Ayumi for her...but nothing more

yes childhood pairing isn't bad...but when you read a manga where almost all the importants pairings are childhood friend,it becomes really annoying and childish...

and what if he has no connection with BO? does that necessary make him a better match than any other boy for her?On the contrary,if one day he discovers the truth about her past(he could listen to a conversation between her and Conan,or if she could reveal the truth herself-which is also possible-) i don't know if he'll understand and love her as he does now...

of course,that's only if Haibara doesn't take the antidote...and i'm not sure she'll stay as a child in the end...

we don't know how Mitsuhiko will be in the futur, all we can do is speculating...Gosho said that he won't show the characters 10 years later,so i don't take it seriously...
