As far as I know none of my family members or friends sat in prison. Fourth option, then.

By sat in prison do you mean someone who was sent to prison?

My dad once, since he refused to participate in the military service or something like that

Several family members of mine... several times... for multiple things.

Scratch that, several went to JAIL several different time for multiple things and I think one went to prison.

My uncle. Something involving the police, It may have been a parking ticket or something. I don't really remember it, but my mom had to go to court.
After all that, He moved to Michigen (14 hours away!!! ) and married a woman. that's why I can't see my [favorite] cousin.

Maybe it had to do with his now ex-wife...

If it's for a ticket, it's probably jail.  They really aren't the same thing.

I did edit it and say It may have had something to do with his wife. But all I know is that he spent time in prison for something.

Edit: Oh, you're right. I do someone who visited a prison.

If we count stuff like that then I've been in prison multiple times, counting lets say games and role-playing makes it even more times. But other than that not that I know.

Yes. Near the end of WWII, my grandfather was captured by the Americans for some time but was released shortly afterwards.

if it was anyone, it'd be my brother, but since he was under 18 at the time that was just Juvie, not an actual jail/prison.

Nobody I know has been in prison.
