Assuming that'd somehow work out (which it shouldn't, but alright :x), I'd probably take a really large amount of equipment, go back to ~1890 and try to get the Great Powers to talk out their differences. I'm kinda torn between choosing a date before Wilhelm I's death (in which case I can probably rely on Bismarck for support \o/) or after the Franco-Russian Alliance (in which case the need for talks is more obvious). Obviously, if WW I is avoided, neither Hitler nor Stalin will ever rise to power :x

What if the Holocaust was caused by someone going back in time to stop a different genocide from ever happening?
