Eurovision 2012
Come on, all of you other 3 people who are at least somehow interested in this topic.
Here's a list of the countries that reached the final competition:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurovision ... #Finalists
Like in the last few years, I'm gonna root for Germany (Partly because I couldn't really root much for Israel since they don't get in lately for the final).
Germany's song sounds kinda like an American pop ballad.

I root for Holland -o-, even though we didn't reach the finals again...
Then I'm going for England or something... There was a song I really liked but forgot what country it was...

Re: Eurovision 2012
At leas the UK hasn't epically flunked out like in recent years. Poor Engelbert Humperdinck was going to be the oldest contestant ever until those Russian birds turned up. Still, at least he still has the most awesome name

No song from Sweden?
Good haven't watched the competition in years but I've heard our songs have sucked

Actually, sweden did reach the finals, these are just ten finalists from the first round plus the standard ones and the top 3 from last yearKainTheVampire wrote: No song from Sweden?

Which is exactly why I find it a bit absurd that a country like Azerbaijan is hosting it. I heard a big amount of their budget went to take care of this event and they also made sure to get citizens out of the area of the contest so there will be more space.Wakarimashita wrote:Good ! It is a bit ridiculous and it might be even worse if a country like Greece or Spain ends up winning this year (given their economic situation).Kor wrote:Which is exactly why I find it a bit absurd that a country like Azerbaijan is hosting it. I am not sure if I should be glad or disappointed that Austria is out... probably glad.

And now there's the voting and the scores.
I think Germany's was the best. I'm probably a bit biased, though.
