Gin and Vodka were really just there to ride the roller coaster with their boss. What the show never shows us is all the Weekend at Bernie's style hijinks they go through afterwards to make everyone believe he's still alive.

Roller coaster victim = Zombie boss! It was only a matter of time before DC caught onto the zombie craze anyway, we just didn't realize it was that way from the beginning!
