In case people don't know about the show, here are some info on it:

It is a cartoon series from the US, but the art style makes it feel like an anime series. I personally like the series because of the action packed battles, somewhat simple but funny humor, and deep story that makes it feel beyond its 6-11 age target.

Of course, being from the US, it is not an anime series, and there are people who don't want to even look at it because of its attempts to be like anime.

So what do you guys think about it?

i like it, ive been into it since it was first released. I kinda wish the ending was a little better though

Ooooh! I love it. I admire the drawing so much. The story is so cute and funny. I like the whole Chinese look and the martial arts. It's so cool!!

Being an Asian myself, I have to say the creator of Avatar did a pretty good job. He captured the "all about Asian" concept.

Here's a question:

Who's your favorite character and what element do you want to bend?

Well, Aang is an obvious choice  . My favorite character is Toph. All the elements are so cool but I like Air bending, though water is cool because you can use any liquid and earth is cool because you can bend metals

My favorite character? I don't really know. But my favorite element would be Air/Wind, but that's also because of other anime.

Same here. I thought the ending, although it was cool, it felt a bit random. There were some characters that didn't really get much closure, like what would happened to Zuko's mother and Katara's dad after the seperation.

Also, I thought the whole thing where Aang regains the Avatar state and takes away Ozai's firebending seemed to come out nowhere.

Just to inform u all Avatar Fans,
Avatar:The Last Airbender just completed its Season 3..after a long gap of around 2 months ..
Episode 16,17,18,19,20 and 21 were made aired Episode list with release dates
and the all these episodes rockzzzz..
Actually the last episode is both Season and Anime Finale(in case they don't take any decision for Season 4,which is very much appreciated by all Avatar fans but is rare after watching the last ep)

P.S Episodes are Online on -> Torrents and that too with a good seed:peer ratio ,downloaded them in about half an hour..last four eps are combined into one 696 Mb file.


As for the Character I like ->Prince Zuko ..
Elements I want to bend "Fire.Air.Water.Land" <- Believe me this is the new element ..everything..i wont compromise on my awesome capabilities..hehe

That episode was kinda weird... The Katara actress looked fat, and even though Aang was portrayed as a girl, the Katara and Zuko actors referred to him as a boy. 

Since you are finishing Avatar today, I just hope that the ending doesn't disappoint you. 


PS: I think I heard somewhere that a side story for the Avatar series was gonna be made. Can anyone verify for me?

hmmm...
thats what i was thinking til the end of the episode..."where is my mother..."
i figured they'll ...i ono...producers?directors? what-not would start a NEW season..but
i highly doubt that. hmm...
but the whole...AANG + Katara thingy...not so much.

Why would it disappoint? I just finished watching it. It was so awesome!!! I love it. It's so cool!!! Everything about it is really really cool!!!! All the elements, the moves, the characters, the drawing, the EVERYTHING. hahahaha 

Loved this show. Was satisfied very much with its ending. It's a personal favorite. I even collected the whole first season in DVDs.

Favorite character... between Toph, and Katara. Can relate to Aang and Katara the most. Toph and Sokka are just amusing.

Would totally love to bend any element lol xD but preference to Earth and Water.

I loved the martial arts most about this show, though. The fact that each bending was based on a different style in real life... and when I saw the making-of... blew my mind away. xD

They would usually play like one video(or at least, used to) on the different components of the Avatar series on Nick. They explained that Water was based on Tai Chi, Earth on Hung Gar, Fire on Northern Shaolin (sounds a bit broad), and Air on Bagua. Unfortunately, that's all I remember.

Oh yeah, and Toph was special. She used Southern Preying Mantis style instead of Hung Gar.
