What would you do in a Zombie Apocalypse?

"I'd go into a big abandoned apartment building and set booby traps (with big ass warning signs for humans) all over the stairs then climb to the top. Then just keep luring more and more zombies in untill they all die. After that, use a zipline or similar to travel to another large apartment building and escape down there. Rinse, repeat." - Some other guy whom I agree with.

Let see..
First 3 basic rules :
1. Securing edible food, clean water, and medication including its sources...
2. Securing shelter with decent protection, self-sufficient electricity, communication device, and sanitation
3. Securing self-defense weapon, melee weapon would be preferred since fire-arms would need constant maintenance and limited usages.. (of course, this is assuming that I got certain immunity against the so-called virus, so i won't get infected by the blood splatter), in worst case, Fire-arms still a smart choice for a long-range, safe distance weaponry..
Remember, this is a survival of the fittest, so i won't be playing hero here...

I completely agree.
...though I wish I don't end up being alone like Will Smith on I Am Legend. It's good to have a partner or two.

yeah... but remember we need to make sure the hidden shelter have a way to extraction point!

Ever heard of a store called Cabela's? It's got guns, ammunition, knives, and freeze-dried food, not to mention live fish. Lock it up and it's perfectly defensible.

when i was a child ( elementary level) i always want to get caugth in monster or alien attact.. just like jurassic park..
and i'm on the mall ( wallmart)
because it have many things to make as a weapons... many place to hide and plenty of food.. but that only if the enemy is only 1 not a mob of zombie!

Bad choice, too many entry points to defend, lots and lots of glass which won't provide much siege defense..
Btw, i was just thinking... Zombies were basically : a Walking
DEAD BODY isn't it ? Then all we have to do is just trying to survive for 1 years (2 to be safe), and all those dead body would've decomposed already (especially since those who exposed to sunlight, rain, and other stress everyday)

First, you gotta evaluate the type of zombies. Are they the typical staggering zombies, crocodile zombies, or those corny 80s zombies that could either run or somehow catch up to you despite just walking?
After that, determine what access you have to weapons. Are you at home, at work, at a mall, at school, etc? Obviously if you're at school, you can't assume you'll have access to a gun. Well, maybe some schools, but you can't assume it!
From there, set up a base of operations. This should hopefully include the following: clean food, clean water, 2 easily barricaded entrances/exits. If it somehow has security cameras or a good view of the zombies (one-way only, don't want them knowing where you are if you can help it), observe them. See if they start acting oddly (ie: moving slower, eating each other, dying, etc). From there, you might be able to dwindle their numbers just by resting and waiting.
Also, as far as weapons go: Easily carried projectiles with ample ammo > other projectiles > bludgeon weapons > slashing weapons >>>>> piercing weapons.

Talk about a well thought out plan, do you have any insider info withheld from the public?
