World Cup Day 31 Spain-Netherlands AKA The Final!!!
Posted: July 10th, 2010, 8:35 pm
Four Years Ago, 204 Nations started their dream of being the best of the best in the world of Soccer, 31 spots were available to enter the final stage, the stage every single player dreams of, The World Cup.
After 3 and a half years of competition, by the end of 2009, the 31 spots were taken and together with the host country, completed the draw of the 32 teams that would play to be the New World Cup Champion.
Six Months after that, or one month ago, on June 11th 2010 those 32 teams started the Journey, the Journey that ends now, 2 nations remain, but only one will prevail, none of these two nations has ever won a World Cup so We can expect a match like we've never seen before.
For Spain could very well be a one in a lifetime opportunity, would they be able to deliver???
For the Netherlands is their 3rd World Cup Final, and the first since 1978, could their third try be the one???
For all the other teams, It was an amazing journey because they carried on with the dreams of all those people cheering for them back home and the dreams of all of those 172 nations that didn't make it to this final 31 days of Soccer Magic in South Africa.
I personally enjoyed making all these polls and reading everybody's comments as we were all from different countries and we all had a passion for the sport of Soccer or like we most of us like to call it, Football.
See you in Brazil 2014!!
