I`m sorry for you Conia. Argentina was after Brazil the number 1 favorite from the *experts* to win the title and then they lost with their second highest lose in their soccer-history ever. Must have been a horrible feeling to watch those 4 goals when being a Argentina fan.
I don´t see the faults with the players but with Maradonna´s tactic. He didn´t changed anything at all when the german team was able to dominat his offensive players most of the time in the first half. He should have done something, maybe another offensive player or a defensive middle player to stablize the team.
But well, 4-0 is a very clear score, so SCHLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!!!!
*gives conia a german beer and a argentina steak*
I hope you will get into a better mood soon.

I was surprised myself Germany's tactic overwhelmed Argentina's tactic from the start. From what I know, Maradona watches the rival, so I'm still confused about that. Even I, doing some research, knew that Germany has (or at least shown today) perfect synchronity when moving. The defender line plus the center midfielders did this the whole match.
The German attackers pressured Argentina on our side, but our players kept not being fast enough to pass the ball, which led to losing the ball in our own side.
In the 2nd half, Argentina had its chance: Germany and Argentina stopped using their midfielders, so it became a match were both could take shoots at the goal. THAT was the moment: Argentina could tie the match or Germany make the gap bigger. We all know how that ended...
