Ah, but the thing that produced the egg didn't necessarily have to be a chicken, did it?  It could have been a quasi-neandericken.

It never specified if it was "the chicken's egg" but dinosaur's eggs came first, so go with the egg people

Because it the poll didn't say that it was a "chicken egg". It's just "egg". Which could mean "dinosaur egg".

Also I typed "egg", "eff"..... dammit. XD

if you believe in evolution, it's the egg. For the vast majority of cases, an animal's DNA doesn't mutate while they're alive, and the only way evolution happens is through combining DNA through a child. So two pre-chickens can have a chicken egg, but a pre-chicken-egg can't turn into a chicken.
