After seeing Magic File 4 I heard of a new dish, okonomiyaki, and it makes me wonder how many foods out there are in Japan. Japan is not just about sushi you know.
So what i am asking is have you ever made/eaten any of Japanese culture foods?

I live in America and I eat a ton of Japanese food; super expensive but it's awesome.
It's all about the sashimi - salmon and red tuna. I also like Chawanmushi, which is like some steamed egg custard thing.
I also really like this teapot soup-like thing called dobin mushi, it's got a bunch of meat/seafood/vegetables in a broth and you drink it from a teacup.
Helllla good. Lot's of good eats from where I'm from, I get
a little bit everything

Let see... Japanese food ? I'm fine with most of them, e.g; teppanyaki, yakiniku, gyoza, onigiri (i like the salmon filling), teriyaki, etc..
But i just can't bring myself to like Sushi and Wasabi
*PS*
i am talking about the sushi they sold here.. i don't know whether the original sushi would be more delicious than this crap or not...
And right now, I'm especially curious with Unagi (Eel) Menu.. No, no, it's not because of Genta.. I just find this peculiar taste to be really delicious..

Yes. Yes it is. Actually it depends if the fish is fresh or not ^^ And of course, Japan has great seafood!

Okonomiyaki is really delish! Especially the brown sauce. But my friend (whom I was eating with at that time) didn't like the taste. Maybe my love for Japan told me to like it.
