Why Ayumi joined Detective BOYS

I'd take a guess that Japanese is one of those languages that has male and female forms for groups of people, and that if it's a mix of males/females that they get referred to as "guys" anyway.

May be wrong, who knows!

I'm aware of that but on there badge it is Detective BOYS. But, what can be there other name lol?

You can always call them Junior Detective Squad if you like.

I always call them the "Detective Gang".
