playing through the Ace Attourney: Miles Edgeworth game, came across a situation where something at the end of a hallway disappeared in a magic trick. It might have taken me a second to figure it out, but then I realized that the exact same trick was used in the Conan+Heiji Reasoning Magic case with the doors+mirrors.
Detective Conan: helping people solve mysteries for 15 years.

1) completing video games is an important part of real life.
2) Though I trust anyone here who reads this would find it out quickly anyway

Whatta spoiler, Akonyl. XD
On-topic though, the tricks in DC have made me insanely paranoid. Whenever I see a plan for a building, I always comment absentmindedly about how prone it is to sneak attacks. Or where a murderer could hide, or hide a body.

I was watching this chat show with my cousins around Christmas. A magician was coming on and they bet me that I couldn't explain all of his tricks. I so could. Thank you, Kaito and Conan, for helping me rake in £100 (£10 per cousin.) Merry Christmas! XD

I know a Detective Academy Q trick that was useful in my case... The candy bottle trick was used in a gag show and without even thinking twice, I figure it out...
Kaito Kid's teleportation magic seems to be related to one of the tricks of Criss Angel did. The difference is that Kid went up and Criss Angel went down... I haven't figured out how Criss Angel did it and I haven't watched something like that on Exposed...

I got a general knowledge question on rigor mortis once because of the Mycroft Lodge case. It's the only way I remember biology ^_^;
