I somehow found it on Google search when I was looking for a way to watch DC when Youtube deleted it...

then with my curiosity i wanted to see what was that
then i'm here

Somebody on YT was talking about DCTP subbing movie 13... I thought it was a YT username at first, then i googled it and found the site.

I was kinda dimly aware of it anyway, though, since the name was on all of the manga scans used by OneManga...

Found it via Detectiveconan.us ... When DC.US went down, I "moved" to DCTP

During the charm case (Heiji and Kazuha's latest appearance), some people at the Onemanga forums were reading it before it even got uploaded to OM. Of course, it was a Kazuhei case, so I sped here and saw heaven.

i used to go to the knightus link in the DC page in OM because if i remember there was like a list saying which episode is about which file just like the one we have now

and when that site closed down - or changed to this i dont know, but when i google 'knightus conan' DCTP popped up instead if i remember lol - so i naturally drifted here

I've been following Knightus' Linker since 2006 (the 'conan.wagnergrp' server, back when it was still around).  Someone on YouTube linked the Golden Apple case to me through Knightus' site and that's how I found it.  

I have checked it every day since then and I began getting more attached to it once it merged with other translation teams.  I decided to join the community itself much, much later though.

I was doing a Google search for Conan Episodes when I ran into a link which led me to the DDL page on the forums. As you can guess it was like a dream come true for me when I had no other place to find subbed eps

My DCTP experience
It was the peak of the slack season... I had nothing to do... I joined a site only for DC (not this site) but it's a ghost town (even now probably)... Then I joined an anime in general site (a4) but only few threads are dedicated to DC (most of the time they are dead threads) so I decided I might as well join another DC site...

Long Story Short - Google brought me here! The name DCTP was familiar... I thought I saw it in 1 of my downloaded DC episodes...

After I read all of Goshos storys on mangafox I was sad  and mad that all of the storys wernt done so for days I looked up websites on Detective Conan,Magic Kaito Kid,even Yaiba. Untill I found this website. 

My husband (well, this was back before we even got engaged, so at that point he was just my boyfriend) gave me the scanlations for the first few volumes of Conan, and then when I read through them really fast (I was addicted!) he showed me where to get the rest of it--Knightus' Conan Linker. This was back in about 2006, before the current DCTP had really formed. As DCTP came into being (the current incarnation, at any rate), Knightus' site got merged into it, and I sorta followed. It was REALLY cool to suddenly have a reliable source for quality fansubbed episodes! *^_^*

Well, in my case at first I downloaded all episodes from Youtube (but I only choose HQ ones, not Youtube HQ, but real HQ), however, the uploader I used, xkhayenx, had only uploaded the episodes up to number 153, but he provided a link with further episodes he uploaded to Megaupload. However, they also stopped around 240.
At that time I got familiar with another uploader, vodkastoffi (who uploaded episodes by request, without order). After a time I asked him where he got the episodes from and he told me about this forum (or, more precise, the Megaupload-link-topic). After reading a few posts I decided to join. If I remember right, I just wanted to say something important (looked it up: it was about a corrupted Megaupload-file) and started to post a little more ... and a little more ... and before I came aware of it, I were totally caught in the forum.
And still I am.

I'm trying to find a site where I can watch and download DC episodes.

I typed "Detective Conan translated" on google.
