It's been a while since I've set up a round and I've been itching to do so! While I don't have the time at this point as soon as I've settled in a bit I'm planning to finish setting up a plot, drawing original characters (as well as sceneries if I'm up to it) and do my best to make this a fun experience!
As of now I have two ideas for a round, however, and because I can't decide I've decided instead that I'll put up the general premise and let you guys pick instead!

Mafia round ??: Meitantei Masago
The first idea centers around my character Hatano Masago after he gave up his baseball career in chase of the truth behind the death of his best friend Akita Akira. You guys will follow him as he tracks down leads and gets closer (or further) from the truth, with the result changing depending on who wins!
The round will be anonymous, so you'll get a character from the story handed to you with an avatar I'll have to draw myself. Whether you want to roleplay as well is up to you!

Mafia round ??: The Ink Black Turnabout!
The second idea centers around Phoenix Wright and his friends as they attempt to defend another client! Will he be successful? Again that's up to the winner!
The second idea is again an anonymous round with all new suspects and prosecutors you guys can give your own flair to!

As of now these titles are just there to give an idea, as the plot might still alter later on after which the titles will be updated. The general premise will stay the same, however, do I hope this gives you a good enough idea to decide which idea you like more.

I'd love to hear opinions too, by the way!

ill go for the Ace Attorney one since it feels better to roleplay with already establish characters. Unless the first one the characters is up for the players.

Well, you wouldn't have to roleplay as them, but they are still pre-established characters whereas the new characters in the AA one don't have a character and can be filled in as you like.

Either is fine.

I'm fine with both, but I'm not actually familiar with Ace Attorney. Maybe I should do something about that.

Well, it IS my own original story #neverpublishedbeforebuthopefullyfleshedoutduringmystayinjapan.
Planning to do a lot of research in the Shibuya area to work on the background and realism of the setting. But the plot is pretty much set in stone (though this round isn't fully based on it, because it focuses on the murder).

I would definitely have voted for Ink Black Turnabout if I saw this on time!

If the first option was your own original story, it'd be fun to have that too, if you can get us immersed in the story during the introduction, prep phase, and night 1 narrative. Ultimately, it's your choice.

There's no time limit on this, though.

I've been wanting to play mafia here for a while now (but seems to missed it everytime..)
Anyway, I'm wondering around what month would the next round open?

Who knows? It depends on when people have time to start one. I won't have time for a while, but I'll be doing prep work for my round starting august... Maybe I'll have something up by September.

Either is okay but my personal favorite is Ace Attorney
