Yesterday a migraine knocked me flat right after work, so I didn't get more than a few hundred words written. ~_~* This is on top of being well under my personal goal-for-the-day on Tuesday due to a combination of busy and frustrated. Well, and nerves. Didn't write in the morning because nerves (interview). Then I had my interview, which I think went reasonably well, and got home. Didn't dive into writing because I thought we were going to go run errands. Then it turned out that Archi didn't actually have a plan, which led to a great deal of frustration and ended with me yelling at him to just go write. Once he was ensconced in front of the TV with his laptop to write, I popped outside so I wouldn't disturb him and started trying to figure out what the plan for the evening was. This created even more frustration, which blocked my ability to get any writing done. By the time I'd calmed down enough to even think about working on my story, it was time to leave for the airport to pick up Shingo, my oldest brother, whom I had not seen in 5 years. So by the time we got home from hanging out with Shingo (and dropping him off at parents' house) it was getting late, and I didn't have time to squeeze in my usual number of words. Now I need to write 7770 today to catch up to where I want to be. ~_~*
Also I apparently focused my planning a little bit too much on the first two Shadows, and now I'm having trouble with Hattori's. Next will be Kazuha's, which I knew would be problematic anyway, because we don't actually know her all that well.... Half-tempted to jump a bit and work on Hakuba or Kuroba, but I haven't really worked things out with their setup either. There's a heist, but I need to figure out the target and the stunt.

Damn it.. T__T Went to sleep, feeling completely peaceful for the first time for at least two weeks, then I wake up because of nightmares one hour later T__T

I couldn't be happier that this asshole is getting evicted.

1) Uses other people's dishes without their permission and never cleans them
2) Leaves cigarette butts in the sink
3) Thinks leaving used vibrators in people's frozen food is funny
4) Never does his cleaning
5) Repeatedly comes in at three or four in the morning and makes a huge racket, even when knowing that his flatmates have a goddamn exam in the morning
6) When confronted about 5, only says "well, my life's here for me to live, int it, darlin'?"

I cannot tell you how angry that "darlin'" makes me. If the landlords don't get on his case and evict him soon I am going to murder him. Probably the next time I call him "darlin'".

So my laptop started acting up. I just let it update and everything was fine. And then when i tried to sign in, it showed me a blank screen. But i went all programmy and got the task manager and then the explorer working, it WONT SHUT DOWN. God hates me it seems.... and i have to leave for college tomorrow morning....... How the hell can i get it fixed up in such a short amount of time?????

Computer issues abound, it seems.
My main computer is busted. This is getting dealt with, though, as some friends are willing to build me a new desktop (which will be nicely powerful and all...).
Archi's computer died too.... now we need to get the hard drive pulled so he can keep working on his novel, and he is currently without a computer. ~_~* Fortunately he doesn't seem too terribly upset, as he still has the PS3 to play with... However, we did decide to pick up one of the 'laptop bundles' at Best Buy so he'll have a computer....

it happened the other day but never mind,

we have this bush in front of our house where birds sometimes make their nests and since I got home for the vacations I noticed that they had made a new nest and there was a adorable featherless baby bird in it with some eggs that still had to hatch.
So, the other day mom was on the porch and heard a fluttering of wings and went to look and saw a snake hauling an adult bird out of the nest to the ground, dad then came and killed the snake before the snake could finish off the poor bird, but the bird was already very heard on it's head and had one wing broken
the bird sat on our lawn for a long time and I figured that it would do good on it since it's full of insects, but by the afternoon when mom went to check on the bird it had already disappeared and then when she checked the nest it was empty
so we all think that the snake ate up the little birdies and then the adult bird say it and tried to defend the nest and then the snake went for it

I feel bad for the poor birdies

So apparently "don't worry, we'll leave the dinner at eight o'clock" means "we're staying until half past eleven no matter how many times you have to leave the room to throw up because either you've caught one of the wee ones' colds or you're just that completely unhappy and uncomfortable with these people and these conversations, or even both"

I liked Christmas morning better than the majority of the day.

Forgot my cane this morning and didn't realize it until I was waiting for the bus. Then the boss was late to work and store was at least 5 minutes late getting opened, if not more so. Place was packed pretty much my whole shift, and I ended up staying a bit late because it was absurdly busy. Then I realized that yes it's busy, but we have like 7 people in here working, so you don't really need me.... so I ran errands and went home.
I did not get to see Archi today. Unless he took the car, I will not see him until tomorrow. If he did take the car, I should see him on his lunch break for a little bit.

So the last time i had lost access to my laptop for 4 and a half months due to my roomie getting ho*ny and seeing porn on my laptop........... WHEN THE WARDEN BARGED IN THE ROOM. And now a similar incident happening again, this time a group of guys watching together which lead to the decision of cutting the LAN. Now, i gotta either get a private net connection....... or just be happy with coding and single player FPS.
