That's awesome.
To be honest, I think we got so many points because of how much bravery it took to do our performance. We did put some extremely personal stuff into it in order to evoke an emotional reaction. Heli talked about her father's death, Alison talked about how her friendship with her best friend turned toxic, I talked about my high school suicide attempts, Caitlin talked about her self-harm.

But actually it was very therapeutic, putting the performance together. Like the first time Alison talked about her best friend and we were all like "we've all had a friend like that, we know that feel" and she cried because she'd been so scared of telling anyone about her feelings because she was scared of being told she was weird or wrong. We're all feeling a lot more open with each other and the rest of our course, which is probably going to help a lot for performances over the next two years.

@Manga: That is awesome, to connect so well with your classmates. ^_^

On topic: Today's errands went pretty well. Snagged a lavender blazer and skirt I'd been eyeing at 50% off regular price, and then saved an additional $25 because I was able to pull up a coupon. Archi found a pair of jeans that is an inch shorter than his usual ones, so hopefully he won't rip out the back hem by stepping on them.
Upon returning home, I randomly browsed through Groupon offerings and discovered a deal on a 16-piece set of dinnerware in the pattern I've been wanting to collect. (I have a few pieces, but I want a full set.) None of the pieces in the set on offer are pieces I already have, so I showed it to Archi, and he told me to go for it! Spent $35 to get $130 worth of dishware! Granted this will mean a bit more decluttering in my kitchen cabinets, but I'll have nice sturdy plates and bowls in a pattern I love! *^_^*
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

Considering that you know how to sew, why not just fix his too long pants? Preferably before he starts using them and therefore brakes them.

I am still something of a beginner at sewing, and hemming jeans is a little more involved/difficult than hemming regular pants. Also I keep forgetting to try. If the shorter jeans solve the problem, I will make an effort to hem new jeans as we get them. Of course, the shorter jeans were purchased at Target rather than Penny's and cost about half what we usually pay for jeans, so it's not an issue, really. He needed new jeans anyway, due to the presence of holes in improper places.

Anaine bought a game for my PS2 the day before yesterday \o/ <3 *wanted a new one since I've played all games I have*
She's going to borrow my PS2, the game she bought and the KH games later though but since I'm going to borrow her Wii later I guess it's only fair :P

Got to see The Great Gatsby with my mum last night. Very good movie, and it's always fun to drink too much wine with my mum and chat XD (Both she and my dad are unutterably happy that they can chat about classic Star Trek with me now. Although when I brought up people online talking about a third reboot movie and asked what "pon farr" is, she laughed so hard wine came out her nose.)

Got to spend the day out places with Archi. We went to a couple shops. Bought a new game (Carcassone), got him some new shorts (because he only had one pair and it's been absurdly hot lately), I got a shirt that needs a bit of alteration, and we went to see a movie.
Anyone who enjoys KID heists should make sure to see the movie 'Now You See Me'. (That's what Archi and I went to see. It is quite good.)

Solved something I considered a huge problem yesterday, and met friendly people in the process. Now I'm not all alone in that lecture anymore \o/

Also, only one month left until I fly to Japan :O So much to do until then, but I'm so looking forward to it!
