Jet Set Radio played with a keyboard is proof against good controls being necessary for a good game.

Brothers being unplayable is proof that unless a game has good controls, it's shit

Hello guys. I have this question that's bothering me, so I thought maybe someone here have an answer.

When someone confesses their love in manga they always use "I like you" which is "suki" after translation. I mean even if someone has a strong feelings for the other he only uses "like" and not "love". So does "suki" exactly means "like" or "love"? is it something to do with the translation only?? Do they have to use "aishiteru" instead??

I'll be glad if someone can answer me :)

I think you'd find the answer to that easily if you'd look into the word like itself, because like usually is used to confess feelings and can mean you developed feelings for someone, but it can also mean they like the person in a friendly manner. I think aishiteru would mostly be used in already established relationships.
I think the key is the feeling suki has as a word in general too. As far as I have seen it's not used to tell a friend you like them as a friend at all. I might be wrong there, but considering that it'd seem the feeling behind the word is different and therefore like does not do justice to it entirely.

Yeah, you were right, maybe the word like doesn't do justice to "suki". I think because sometimes when you try to translate from language to another, you can find difficulties in using the appropriate words.

Although, in some manga even after a good period of going out, they still use the "like". I always thought just why don't they use "love" they are deeply in love now. 'like' just does't do the work

To be fair, I find it's sometimes a bit confusing over here anyway. :p

I mean, we do use the term "like like" as a way to differentiate what "like" means. Which is much more funny to me as a Zelda fan.

I've never posted a proper "people I hate" list despite wanting to many times. But I do need to point out that in the span of a few months, literally everyone who had a strong opinion on Ghostbusters 2016, a movie they had not even seen yet, has gotten a same level of hatred from me as 10+ years of "true fans". That is amazing! Good job internet! Shoot yourself!

*sighs*
Insomnia isn't fun.

So anyway, I was plotting my next guitar purchase when I came across a very nice bass that I *need* to have. I think 2 guitars would suffice for now, so perhaps my next big buy should be a bass. I've been playing bass stuff on the guitar, one octave down, but it's kinda a pain in the butt. Getting a real bass would be nice.

I should probably start practicing the piano again soon :x
Wow.
