I get to go Poke-bowling tomorrow! Haven't been all year. First because my bowling partner fell down the stairs and broke his wrist, then as his wrist healed up I got a job that didn't let me get away for bowling... and then just after that job ended I fell down hard trying to catch the bus (ran down a hill) and busted my knee. Knee is still a good ways off from all-the-way-better, but the stitches are out now. I'm still not supposed to bend it. Normally this would mean no bowling, but we play candlepin and he always uses a ramp. So we'll just both use the ramp this week!
I am looking forward to going!

Well today was day of good food. When I woke up, my grandmother had baked bread (as every Saturday), my mom was baking donuts and as meal we had pig soup which has potatoes, onion, pork, heart, kidneys and liver. It is really irritating trying to function without bending one knee. All sorts of normally simple motions are now a frustrating task because the requisite movements are entirely different. Also I keep thinking I look like I'm drunk when I'm walking... although I don't because the movement is too regular for 'drunk'. I still feel like an oaf. The crutches I was given tend to be more of a hindrance than a help.
At least we're supposed to have game today, which means I should finally be able to get my hat back....

The pictures coming out from Fort Mac during evacuation were INSANE. If I were to imagine a burning hell, that's what it would look like.


It just occurred to me that I just need to submit this paper and pass this final and I'll be able to call myself an economist. I've come a long way. Which reminds me, I should probably start writing this paper
