I have to rework Hattori's Shadow, in light of more recent events (that drug-trafficker case).
I have to totally rebuild Hakuba, let alone his Shadow (although some of the themes will be the same). Why is Hakuba's characterization so inconsistent? Seriously, it's like they redo backstory stuff every time he shows up! Certainly each story perspective (MK manga, DC appearances, DC KID specials, new KID anime) effectively recreates him. For one thing, we never see him with the Holmes cosplay within DC (aside from the KID specials). The new anime also drops that, and he wears a trenchcoat a bit like Megure-keibu's instead. Also the hawk only appears in that one case.
I based too much of the way I originally built Hakuba on the whole thing with Spider... ~_~*

Today I realized I set my expectations too high on amvs. Not saying they're all bad, lots of them are good. I guess I just find them boring mostly because they're not what I expected >_>
Long story short, I'm getting really picky and I've gotta stop. :V

My 25th is tomorrow, and so last night my best friend and I went to a local Korean restaurant (she had been before a few years ago, but it was my first time). I tried kimchi for the first time - not really sure what I think of it yet. I don't hate it, but I'm not certain I like it, either. I only took half an hour to figure out the chopsticks. After, we went to a liquor store and bought soju, as we were both interested in trying it, but unwilling to do so alone. We each took a shot and decided never again. The rest of the bottle was poured down the drain and the bottle is sitting on my bookshelf now ('cause it's pretty, haha). That's three firsts in one night for me - Korean food (and kimchi in particular), using chopsticks, and alcohol of any kind.
