I don't remember much of my dream last night, but I remember I was standing in line and someone from HR was in front of me in line and somehow they managed to cut my thumb off at the top knuckle, and I was like "wtf?" to which their response was just "oh sorry" and they went back to waiting in line. So I stood there with this bleeding stump thumb for a bit before she noticed it was under a stand next to the counter and I told her to grab it for me. I told her to pick it up and give it to me, but she refused because she was lazy until I yelled at her, pointing out that she cut my thumb off in the first place. So she bent down and picked it up and gave it to me, and I tried to stick it back on my thumb. However, my thumb had already sorta started to heal so I had to scratch away at some of the scabbing before I could stick it back on. After a bit, I could feel a little stinging/tingling in my thumb, so I figured it was starting to heal and was happy.

But then I spent a good while looking at my thumb and wondering if I put it back on completely correctly.

Are you frustrated with HR? :V From what I've heard/experienced, most HR departments are frustrating.

I had two:
Spoiler:
I was on a road trip with some classmates from college, but I needed to stop at the bank and make a deposit. I drove up to the drive-thru teller window and realized that I didn't have any personalized deposit slips with me, so I had to ask for one from the teller. It took forever and everyone was getting bored, and when it finally came I had to copy my account number onto the deposit slip, and I kept screwing it up and having to scratch it out and start over. Finally I had to just ask the teller for a new one, and everybody else was complaining about me taking so long. :V Fortunately, the new teller was my sixth-grade teacher, and she gave me multiple books of personalized deposit slips. It still sucked, though, because we had been at the bank for two hours.
Spoiler:
Then, I was at my grandparents' church building at night, but I was just visiting so I sort of snuck in quietly. There were people inside setting up tables and putting cakes on them. There were all kinds of cakes and I can't remember them all; there were about twenty tables full. There was a chocolate one with chocolate icing and pink-and-green wavy decorations and sprinkles, a pie-ish one with cream cheese and strawberries in it, a huge coconut cake that was in the shape of a pyramid, a swirly pink one, a yellow one with white icing that somebody had already cut a piece out of, one shaped like an elephant with blue icing, one covered in pecans, and lots and lots of cupcakes, etc. I looked for a quiet room so I could call my cake-liking friends and let them know that they should come over, but there were people in even the little kids' classrooms that don't get used at night. Also, I had both my cats in my arms, so I went ahead and put them down on the floor. I was trying to think of an excuse for being there at all when I realized my cats had run outside because the door was cracked. I ran out after them, but there were lots of black cats outside and I had to get really close before I could tell if one was mine or not. D: It took forever to find mine, and I missed the cakes.
FYI, my grandparents' church would totally have had a cake party. :V

I've actually had very little interaction with HR lately so it's not frustration. I think this person was just chosen for the dream because I'd seen her that day and she's exceptionally large (I forgot to mention that one of the reasons that she didn't pick it up earlier was that she tried, but it was too hard to bend down that low :V)

and your second dream sounds influenced by all the randomized birthday cakes you've been giving out imo :P

My history teacher was telling about a dream she had last year. She was running over kids in a van for some reason. O__O

I'm thinking there's a reason she shared that particular dream with you guys.

Really really strange dream which came out of nowhere. I was somehow on the run (like I was a criminal) from a humanoid thing which could detach its hands, eyes, ears and stuff to look for me. And I was trying to get through a forest area to get to a town (not sure why). Also, for some reason, I could turn into a small squirrel which helped me escape. I'd give more detail but that's all I can remember after being awake for so long. Safe to say I woke up freaked out and still tired.

I forget most of my dream, but I remember at one point I was pulling up to a stoplight and I guess the roads were a bit icy, because the car in front of me was sliding at the light sideways and then broke really hard (don't ask why breaking affects the sideways sliding it just does D:) and then did a flip (side-frotnt flip off its front-right tire) and slammed down on the ground and I was like whooooooa

I just stopped my car there and looked at the wreck thinking "man whoever's in there much be wrecked" but then this old guy got out of the car and started walking away.

I came across a sheet of paper on which I wrote a dream I had about a year ago.  All I can remember is that I couldn't be late to work, even though it looked likely that I would be, not because I just couldn't be late, but because I didn't want to disappoint my best friend (whom I worked with, at the time).  O.o;;

I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.

I found a guy hiding in my closet and I was threating him with a knife (because he was clearly a bad guy hiding in there right?), then I checked my whole appartment with a knife in my hands and I was stabbing air everytime I came around a corner (to kill other bad guys if there were any) .. there was nobody there; although it's usually a nightmare if I dream sth like this but this time it was just weird .. I even thought about what a good policeman I would be while checking the corners with a weapon in my hands xd

I had a dream that I was camping on the beach, and was unhappy because the tide washed me out of my tent in my sleep, and I was floating on the waves in my sleeping bag.

I think I also had my standard recurring nightmare, where I'm running around the streets around my house, trying to get home, only none of the streets go where they do in real life and indeed seem to keep changing as I move, so I'm soon extremely lost in the most familiar place in the world to me, which is more than a bit unsettling. And all the time, something's getting closer and closer...

(I blame the nightmare on getting dared into going into Glitch City in Pokemon Blue as a kid. Wanna bet the thing following me is Missingno? I've had this nightmare so often that I vividly recall going "oh no, not again" when I first took a wrong turn last night.)

Freaking wind...

Dreamt that I was flying around (having the superhuman ability to do so), except the wind kept not cooperating with me on where I intended to go...  Wasn't completely horrible cuz I got to see other neat places, but pretty irritating.

Seem to recall other dreams like this

The wind is against me! D:
