I don't want to wear a kilt, they are to short, I prefer long skirts. besides the no-underwear-thing I've heard about is not tempting at all.

I'd probably go non-traditional with the underwear, but really as long as there's no gusts of wind that wouldn't be much of a deal as I doubt people would try lookin up the kilt.

So it's an actual high-quality kilt (maybe even with your family's tartan?) and not just some tourist crap like mine?
And people trying to look up your kilt is more common than you think - especially at weddings with lots of drunken women.

So it's an actual high-quality kilt (maybe even with your family's tartan?) and not just some tourist crap like mine?

it is indeed an actual kilt, though I believe the fabric is of a slightly lighter grade than most kilts.
and that is true about drunkenness, but I've yet to be to a scottish wedding so I've yet to actually find out for myself.
