When I was little I got that kind of mail and the only one who knew my address was my parents and they just had it in their head, the address hadn't even been used. So it is fully possible to get this kinds of spam without being in contact with dubious sites or persons.

Bleh, I get this kind of mail a lot. One even said that I'd won a trip to Hong Kong. Uh, hello? I FRIKKING LIVE THERE.

I'm always tempted to give false information to them and see what happens, but I never do...
