What video games are you currently playing?

Continued playing 1886 for a bit last night. The guns feel really really good. Sniper rifle was a great weapon to play around with. I have no idea why the internet hates on the game so much. My wireless headphones died mid-play and I couldn't find a mini-USB cable to recharge it so that's a bummer.

Probably because it's a short 3rd person cover shooter that lies about why its technical limitations are a thing (CINEMATIC!1!1!!) that will make more money than you or I will ever see.

I would probably never like it personally and I agree with the complaints, but I will also say the internet is always way angrier than reasonable at everything. Plus I'm happy knowing no one will remember it once Bloodbourne comes out.

I will say it is a highly questionable purchasing decision in an era where you can buy AAA games on Steam for like 5-10 bucks half the time.

It is literally the best looking game I've ever played and I think it's worth every cent, really. I'm busy most of the week and don't have the luxury of sitting in one spot and play a video game for 6~8 hours straight, so I know for a fact that even a short game like 1886 would last me for a long time. I hate games lasting ~80 hours that's basically a fetchquest - I really have no time and patience (looking at you, MH and thy clones). I'm way to lazy to collect things, upgrade things, all that stuff, so this game is definitely up my alley.
Also after I'm done playing I'll be passing it on to Knightus, hopefully in 2 weeks or so, so it's not really a waste of money really :P We share all our new games and cut the cost by half.

Well that is smart logic, I'll admit.

A favorite game of mine is Glover, so I'm not really that interested in telling people what games they should or shouldn't enjoy.

I bought Pokemon X and Persona Q a week before exams. Welp.

(I'm such a total n00b for Persona though. This is the first time I've played the series [though I've watched the anime for both adaptations] and I had such a hard time trying to understand what attack goes where and who should defend from what.)

never played Q but if my memory serves me right, you need to defend from whatever weakness your currently equipped persona has.

I honestly have only played SMT4. It's fine I guess but frustrating in ways I don't like.

i didn't like smt4 at all. I much prefer the Persona franchise tbh. SMT4 was frustrating, the UI was just dumb, the map unreadable, and the whole first-person combat pissed me off.

Honestly my main issue is that I'm kinda sick of grinding in turn based games. It becomes not fun. And it doesn't have enough good story where I'm at to care to push through that. I'm having similar issues with Bravely Default, but Bravely Default is much better I think...

I really do need to play the Persona games someday.

I liked Bravely Default because of it's story. Or maybe I'm just biased since it's the first RPG game I played in a long time, not counting the Zelda series.

yeah, that was my main beef with SMT4 too. You should check Persona 3 and 4 out. All I did was grind once after an "event" happens, then go back out to the real world and play with the teammates. It's great

Mighty Switch Force is one of those games I will play and enjoy and sadly forget about in a month.

Gonna try and see if I could get the demo code for ffxv from eBay. Knightus says it's okay to get type 0, bud
but I honestly just want to play the demo and I want to prove a damn point to square Enix that they will not sell an extra copy of that shit game just because they bundled it with the demo the entire world has been waiting for for 9 years.
It's like, you have finally successfully created / found / bred a unicorn, but you tell the entire world that they have to but a donkey to get to look at said unicorn from 5 miles away with no binoculars

I played Dark Souls for the first time. And gotta say I love it! And my friend said that I died less than average.
