What would you do if DCTP was down?

This I guess. Though I suppose I'd more likely go out and buy Case Closed volumes (though they're not of the same quality, they're still something)

However, I'd be brokenhearted for a different reason: DCTP is much more than just scans and translations. It's a community that doesn't thrive entirely on Detective Conan. There're a lot of conversations and games that have nothing to do with DC. It'd be like someone burning your comics, yeah...but also burning your photo albums D:

Just look at the drawings and determine what might be going on. It's a lot more fun that way, actually. =w=

Not to mention it'll open up room for more discussion for those who can't read Japanese. Kind of like Vocaloid songs where you see the picture and you know what they're singing but you have to make your own idea as to what's going on until you get a true answer.

Also, assuming I would have started reading the manga (if noone picks up the subs), I'd probably switch to German-subbed anime (Amalgam) :x
Though I'd probably talk to Amalgam and try to get the sub-files from him and do a German-English translation myself if there aren't any English subs anymore :x
