As for the important papers they are replaceable, I would just have to got to a lot of places and ask nicely. It would be annoying and time consuming but not impossible.

Re: Today's Awesome Stories
Harry Potter 7 is made of awesome and minor plot holes.
Also, my brother told me about Children in Need day at my old high school, where it's customary for the sixth years to get into groups, dress up and go around the classrooms stealing wallets collecting donations. Apparently this year's batch of sixth-years included the usual group of crossdressing rugby players, a conga line, a group of Chilean miners, a catapiller, and three guys dressed as Call of Duty characters being controlled by three other guys holding Xbox controllers. The last sounds particularly clever and I wish I'd seen it.

Re: Today's Awesome Stories
Was RPGing yesterday and my kinda useless character was the damsel in distress, or to put it bluntly bait for the rest of the group. So there he was locked in a cell when the Minotaur guard passed by. And then he's all "Hello handsome, wanna have some fun?" to said guard. Not sure if the guard fell for it or if it became so pissed that it decided to kick my ass, I didn't stay to find out, instead I picked up a rock smacked it in to the Minotaurs face (read eye) ducked for random swings from the Minotaur and ran out of the cell and closed the door. Damn I was lucky, the Minotaur was a stupid one (decided by dice) and I managed to actually hit. And now he is running around in a monster infested dungeon unarmed and not really having a good ability to defend himself, but it beats being the damsel in distress.
Also, I have a sugar-daddy
Well kinda anyway.

Re: Today's Awesome Stories
Well, this was a unique experience.
First of all we started with my prepared piece. I played a Choro, and that's something they probably don't hear too often. There were two or three times when I went out of the rythem for a second, but I managed to get back and finish the piece with only a few mistakes.
Then the improvising came. So one of the testers asked me what I want to play. He didn't choose, he just asked if I wanted jazz, blues, latin or some sort of vamp. Jazz was out of the question for me obviously. I was a bit afraid from a vamp since he could play something I couldn't figure the chords, and it could be something which would be hard for me to improvise, so I said no to that as well. Blues, while I have no problem with improvising on it, I can only improvise on the Blues Scale and that doesn't really show much skill (since it's only 6 notes). Plus, if they did II V I during the Blues, it could also show that I ignore the harmony in some way. So even though it was risky, I chose latin. Thankfully, he started to play the harmony of something very familiar - Blue Bossa, something I know well. So I told him "Oh it's like Blue Bossa", and then he said "Yeah Blue Bossa, let's play that". I think I did a pretty good job (he also said I did, so....)
Then reading. The first one was easy. The second one though was a bit tougher since it was funk and the articulation was tough. So I had one or two mistakes, but aside from that, I think it was good.
Then hearing. He just played freaking chords and following notes. The entrance exam to my current school was tougher than that. Same with the rythmic hearing. I managed to do all of them pretty easilly.
The interview was also fun. She asked me what my favorite styles and types of music are. Then she asked me who is my favorite musician. Then she asked me what career opportunities I see after Berklee and I said performing. She also asked me if I write music, to which I answered yes. She asked me how I heard about Berklee. And then she asked me how I could contribute to Berklee if I got accepted. For the last question, I probably had the worst answer since I didn't really know what to answer. Hopefully, this wasn't too big of a deal and it won't have some bad consequences.
Before the audition, someone also told me to mention that I write novels and if one of my novels would turn into a movie, then I'll let the Berklee students to write the score. Though of course, I didn't say that in the interview. I did say that I write novels in english, but then something hillarious happened. She herself said "and if one of your novels will turn into a movie, you could let the Berklee students to write the score". Obviously this was in a joking manner, so I joined the laugh.
I also wanted to deliver to her that I'm a funny person and have good sense of humor, but through the interview, I didn't really get the chance. That was at least until the end of the interview and she said "So do you have any questions for me?". I thought for a second and then asked "What's your favorite color?". Then she laughed and said "I see you have a good sense of humor" and then she wrote down something in her computer again. So I think I did a good job overall.
Now it would be painful 3 months until I get an answer.
Hopefully, I'll get a scholarship ranging between 10,000$-20,000$.

Sounds brilliant! Good luck!
Today's awesome award goes to the three guys who came in, bought three snow shovels, and proceeded to shovel out THE ENTIRE CAR PARK over the course of the day. We tip our nametags to you, good sirs.

Re: Today's Awesome Stories
A number of tractors are currently driving around major rows with snowplows on the front and grit dispensers on the back. However, to the dismay of the six households of my little cul-de-sac, the tractor going through our area went past us, shoving a seven-foot wall of snow up our street.
At which point, we all went "Screw it, where are the shovels?"
It took fifteen of us three hours, but we got the street completely cleared. There are now tremendous heaps of snow in everybody's front garden, but we can now move our cars freely for the first time in a week. We can even see the road. It was a brilliant victory, and the best part was that while shovelling, I talked more to some of my neighbours than I have all year. (The only abstainers were one house that kept insisting that we shouldn't have to do anything and that the council will come and sort it all out. Aye, right.)
Dad: *surveying street* We can drive now! Humanity 1, Nature 0!
Me: To be honest, dad, I think Nature's already up a few points. *nods at radio, which is telling us how many train and bus services are closed for the remainder of the week, ie all of them*

Re: Today's Awesome Stories
So, I was on the plane yesterday, and I fell asleep for a few minutes. The guy sitting next to me (had to be about 50 years old) needed to get out but couldn't cause I was in the aisle seat. You'd think that he'd just try to wake me up but no. He decided to jump/vault/whatever over me and clipped my knee, waking me up. So I witnessed his incredible landing and realised what he'd done. It was a pretty awesome feat for a man of that age, imo.
