That was...odd. And not as good as I hoped. It wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination but I should have known as it was far from the best chapter to animated. Next week's episode should be awesome though as I remember loving that chapter in the manga.
I dunno, maybe it was the way too serious music for such wackiness or maybe because I'm used to generic cartoon episode ideas being used hilariously in Conan (easily some of the best stuff the anime team does nowadays). "Happy engine" was pretty amazing though. Mainly since it was put in there so randomly.
I laugh through the whole episode, specially when Kaito is in the side of a roller coaster! When I looked closely Kaito and Aoko, I see Ran and Shinichi~ hehe the episode is not bad at all, ~ B'z Pilgrim is great!

Eh it wasn't too bad I mean manga itself wasn't that good compered to DC, but it sure is good to see goofy kaito once again. Oh and did anyone liked AokoXKaito part at the end

In Japan, it's a "household" rating whiich means that 9.4 out of 100 households with a TV (almost all the households) were watching Conan at 6 pm on Saturday. This means that the ratings of shows which air on different days can also be compared.
Concerning the episode, I really love the music, especially the opening and the track at the end. I'm not a huge fan of the animation, the faces just look weird. Story-wise, it's a bit too goofy for my taste, though some of the jokes like the policemen clapping did make me smile. The "I disguise as Aoko" part was just disturbing though.
I have to say I think Kaito is much better in his own world. He feels more like a character and is less empty and one dimensional compared to how he is portrayed in DC.

It is not even counted as Conan eps, so why does it has a Conan Opening, Conan Ending and anything related to Conan. I was hoping it is made like eps 1 of kaito
Because despite not being counted as an episode, it's still a Detective Conan Special. Furthermore the producers probably had contrats with the bands and their record companies meaning they had to use the new opening and ending, and since only 2 MK episodes are being aired, it was not worth it to do an opening or an ending just for these episodes (which explains the recycled images).

I liked the music for the series and thought of it to be suitable, but I believe that it went by too quick for me to call it worthwhile. Overall, I laughed at it, and thought it was good for it being based off an old manga, but I was still disappointed.
A Detective Conan and Magic Kaitou Role Playing Game / collaborative writing community.
Many characters from the series are available, including major ones! We also accept original characters from any faction in DC and MK. Despite the usage of real life PBs, we follow the anime/manga.
This entire episode is awesome. I've read the manga and this is similar. I am sooo glad they have Yamaguchi Kappei san to take Kaito and Kaitou Kid's role! I love this guy's awesome voice acting. However, I feel that this episode is too fast... I don't really know how to explain this... But its like... It ended as soon as it started.
In this episode however, Kaitou Kid's pokerface aspect has not shone through enough for me But overall, it was awesome.
In Magic Kaito, Kaitou Kid's manga, the Poker face is something that Mastermind Gosho does not show much, is like he wants to show the human side of KID instead of what we see in DC about KID, besides I think that Kaito and Kaitou KID have the potential to be the best characters ever but that might cause that more people start watching KID and stop watching DC and I do not think Gosho want that so he tries no to show Kaito nor KID as perfect as he could. .... Just my opinion.
