Any confirmation on the fact-or-crap of that or should I just wait and see?

Although Kid should probably steal something that isn't associated with Sonoko's uncle or family. Only in the 8th movie was there no involvement of Sonoko's family(excluding Sonoko, but she is forgiven ) and a few (Very few) cases in all of DC. The two ova episodes with Kid remarkably did not involve Sonoko or her family.

NEVERTHELESS. Kid is Kid. You can't argue with awesomeness, especially Kid's awesomeness. >=O

Movies and OVA's don't count in my opinion (I'm a diehard manga fan). The only cases in DC that did not involve Sonoko's family were fake and/or unannounced heists.

It's also strange that Jirokichi doesn't say if there's jewels inside the iron tanuki, which is what Kid usually goes after. So I think that there's more to Jirokichi this time than before. Hopefully this is the last time everyone sees the annoying uncle (I hope his deterioriating health from 515 lingers on to put him to bed for the rest of the series).
