So I've started doing my own DC Rewatch mini-project in which I post on my Tumblr about each episode as I watch them. So far I've gotten the first 9 episodes done and hope to finish up to 10 this weekend. This project will continue until I've caught up on episodes and will continue on with episodes as they air.

I noticed this. It's cool.

Though admittedly I'm basically exclusively interested in seeing your reaction to 129, just because I want to see if anyone else notices how much they got everything right that you wouldn't notice unless you rewatched it.

Forgot to mention up to 118 is posted and 2nd movie as well. (Have currently watched up to 123, just being lazy and haven't posted them yet. )

Well it's largely how brilliantly they do the big middle section of the episode. The entire episode is one of the best done by everyone involved but the middle in particular gets everything perfect and in general how every second was done better than in comparison to pratically the entire rest of the anime (at least in terms of translating the manga to anime). Maybe it's because I've watched this episode way too much though. An example though, Conan has a ton of "oh sh-" expressions and they are all AWESOME and really help add to the seriousness of it all.

The first cases within the 100 mark were so fresh, theres a huge difference between the first cases, even the AOs, compared to the new ones.

I reason why I started skipping AOs in the first place was because I noticed the drop in quality. I was like "wait, are these cases even canon?!"
