Maybe someday... but for now, I'll stick with a new one... just a few mysteries. I'll see what story I can pull out of my ass as I get a feel for this writing biz once more. Phweee~!
...
Also note, I may be taking a bit longer to get to the good stuff depending on the time I post things. xD Things may get separated; some shorter than others; etc. I'll simple try to bring you quality AND quantity! Yes? x3

Conan yawned, laying back in his bed as he relaxed. He was in comfy clothes, a thin, white short sleeve shirt and khaki pants. They both fit perfectly to his size, and he really had to thank Ran for buying his this outfit. Since he had only his old school uniform and a few pieces left from his Elementary days, he could never find anything that he liked. Those clothes were really outdated; some where obviously from way back when, such as his fan base shirts for his 'favorite giant monster and fairy couple'.
He stretched a bit and sighed, closed his eyes. Uncle had not gotten a case in so long... it had been nearly a weak. All that there was were the 'stalking' and 'information gathering' jobs. No murder mysteries. It was not like it was not nice to relax every once in awhile, but with this much time from being away from a mystery, he swore he was going to crack!
"Gaaah~!" Conan cried as he sat up and turned to his night stand. He strapped on his wrist watch, checking the time before searching about for his cap. Why waste such a nice day? Might as well search for a mystery novel at the library that he HADN'T read yet, or visit that nut job professor. He grabbed his cap and placed it on his head before grabbing his cell phones and skateboard.
Heading towards his room door, he slid it open, only to find a pair of lovely; long legs right in his path. He blinked, then looked up at Ran as she looked back down at him. "Ah- ah! R-Ran-neechan?" He asked, blinking those big, blue eyes of his. Ran smiled and bent down to Conan, handing him a flier she had picked up. "Conan-kun! I found this flier hanging up outside. It's a Kid Detective Game." She explained.
Conan blinked and took the flier before giving an unsatisfied look at the flier. Kid Detective Game, huh? Sounded boring. None of their mysteries would be able to outwit him; he was a deductive genius! The Sherlock of the Nineteenth Century! Ran smiled, reaching down to point out something on the poster. "There's a prize too! They say the winning kids will be able to participate in a nationwide contest. I thought it was neat! Almost like a beauty pageant, but for detectives!" She said with a smile. This perked Conan's interest ever so slightly, of course. A chance to prove his worth! But... he would be throwing himself out into plain sight. If the Black Organization were to see that he had won a detective against the best of his age group in Japan, well... they might just remember his face from somewhere. Especially at this point, when they had their sights on Uncle... if they found out...
He handed the flier back to Ran and shook his head. "I can't, Ran-neechan! I'm not that great!" He said in a childish tone with a pout. "Plus... I night make a fool of myself..." Conan falsely admitted before lowering his head ever so slightly.
Ran took the bait. She knelt in front of his with an 'Ahhh~!' and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Conan... that never stopped you before... Take the flier for now, and if you change your mind, tell me. I'll gladly sign you up." She said before giving him a reassuring smile. Conan nodded, smiling big up to Ran. "Okay, Ran-Neechan! I'm going to head out for a bit, I'll be back~!" He said. Ran nodded and got back up, moving out of his way. "Okay, then. Be back in a few hours for dinner!" She said as Conan headed out the door. With a goodbye,, he was already heading down the steps in his sneakers.
Once out in the fresh air, he looked to the poster once more before sighing and hopping onto his skateboard. Stepping on the button on the skateboard's grip, he closed her eyes for a moment. He heard the whirring of the gears in the skateboard's solar powered engine. He readied himself before he suddenly shot off, out onto the streets towards the professor's house.
