This topic is for SPOILER FREE discussions of the current manga case. If you have glimpsed progression in the case that has not yet been covered by DCTP releases, this is not the correct topic to be discussing in. Spoilers from the latest case, no matter their source, may be discussed in the other topic on this case, which can be found here. Please read the rules in the first post of that topic as well!
In other words: If DCTP has not released the file in question, it is NOT to be discussed in this topic, not even in spoiler boxes.
Why is this necessary?
Due to the files making their way onto the internet in full much earlier than before, we will be experimenting with having spoiler free discussion threads for all the latest cases. This will give everyone the opportunity to proceed with following and discussing the series in the manner they are most comfortable with.
What happens with the other type of discussion topic?
They stay exactly the same. The topics that we have been discussing the files in while using spoiler boxes need to operate by the exact same rules as before,
especially for the time being. There are several reasons for this. Foremost, people may accidentally stumble into that topic (either from the index or without seeing that there is a "spoiler free" topic available). As a result, the old rule of "if DCTP hasn't released it, use a spoiler box" will still apply as much as ever, at least for now.

Conan's still not aware that Sera is Akai's little sister? I mean he didn't get echo that Sera was put to sleep by Vermouth... because they discovered she was related to Akai.. that Okiya secured her... all of this because they're siblings?
I mean Conan didn't make the link since then? :/
While the question could be something else.. I think it's "have we met before".

"... are on the same side?"
"... know each others secret?"
"... have the same goal"

Well if Okiya = Akai, then he easily could have told Conan that Sera is his sister, to help him rule out her as Bourbon. I'm pretty sure Conan knows about Sera's relation to Akai, and since Akai/Okiya now knows Conan's true identity he may also trust Sera with it?

and even if Conan never made the connection himself, I doubt Okiya would have seen Sera and not mentioned it to Conan.
I just hope we get to learn the actual question at the end of the case though, and not have it just hung over our heads as a mystery forever until more Bourbon plot happens.

I cross out "... are on the same side?". I think at this point Conan is pretty sure Sera isn't an enemy... even in the beginning he didn't think Sera was an enemy. Now that the plot has pretty much advanced, particularly in the Mystery Train case, ("Sera has been knocked out by Vermouth"=>Conan knows that) I really doubt Conan has some suspicions of Sera being an enemy.
I like the idea of him asking "...know each other secret?" that would include talking about Akai and him revealing himself his identity to her (assuming he suspects she knows who he is). Plus, "if both of us know each other's secret there's no point hiding it", Conan may think that.
"...have the same goal" You mean destroying BO?

I think that Gosho will troll us in a way we don't suspect. Like maybe giving us only a part of the question or not giving the answer. It would be his style.

I don't know how much information Akai and Conan are sharing at this point. It would be just like both of them not to have informed each other of what they know/think about Sera. Conan consistently fails to inform others what he is really thinking to the point where highly avoidable stupid situations happen - e.g the Agasa invites over both Vermouth suspects debacle. Akai isn't the most outgoing either, not informing his coworkers of his plans.

Keep in mind that Conan is talking to Sera and not to the readers. Adding to that he has to be careful what he says because he's around Rand and Sonoko too. So he can't simply blur out: "Hey, Okiya is your brother Akai that invaded the BO" etc XD
That's why I think he could say something like "... are on the same side?" which indicates the BO and that they are allies, without outsider figuring out much.
"... have the same goal" is similar to that. Since it also implies they are allies and have the same enemy/goal.
Something like "... have/know the same brother/oniichan" could also happen :V Since children say "oniichan" to older male people. And Akai/Okiya is Sera's brother :V That would also reveal to sera that Conia knows about her searching for Akai etc.
and yeah, what chekhov said XD Info sharing is not given in detective conan :V
