I have a feeling that the next few files will be another Ran-suspicious-of-Conan case. I got this idea based on the fact in 824 that Conan asks Kid to send the phone he has given to him back to Mouri Agency. This could potentially lead to Ran discovering it before Conan gets it back.

I may be wrong but feel free to comment and predict

sounds like after a long story arc, GA will take a break and give a light non-arc case for Detective Boys.

yep as always. I think that's his way of keeping us on the edge of our seats. I also think Amuro will stay out of the spotlght for a while too, maybe not disappear but won't be as involved as he was before i.e continue to be kogoro's apprentice.

Oh, and now that I think about it, it's been quite a while since the last Hattori Heiji case. Those are never too far apart from each other, at most they're separated by 20 or 30 files. I wouldn't be surprised if the next case was a Hattori one.

Speaking of, has there ever been a case involving cannibalism? Or maybe that would be a bit too grim for DC...

2) Heiji often appears after a BO-case. Seems like we have a pretty high chance

Yeah. Cannibalism? In MY DC? It's less likely than we think.

I doubt even Mr. Composure, Kudo Shinichi, would be able to keep a straight face and go on with his investigations if that sort of thing happened.

Not to mention: Poor DB. If they're not traumatized now, then a cannibal case would definitely do the deed.

I think cannibalism would fit in a Kindaichi manga though

If it was anything like Countrycide, I'd like a cannibalism DC case . Also, when can we set up a DCTP cannibalism count?

It would be just awesome to have a cannibalism case in DC!!!
I like this kind of dark stories...

Anyway concerning the next file I really think we'll have a Heiji case,he usually appears on May-June and since he wasn't there on the Mystery train case,I think it's time for him to appear.
But I really would like a DB case with Okiya instead.

Train case aftermath. DB travels somewhere, Conan and Haibara talk about what happened at the orient express, murder case happens, Conan solves the case, then plot kicks-in again near the end, and Gosho brings an temporary closure so he can milk the series even more before getting to the plot again.

That's my prediction, but oh god I hope I'm wrong.
