Chekhov's Guns - Things that might make a comeback?

So, I hope this is okay as a new topic since I browsed through the forums but didn't find anything exactly like this. =)

After skimming through some volumes again recently, some things struck me as noteworthy in the sense that I thought "Hey, this might actually play a role later on in the story...?"

I wanted to share this with you people, perhaps you agree on some or you don't or you can clarify some things that I may have missed. =) You're very welcome to add to this list!

Sharon's Handkerchief
We know Ran lost the handkerchief that Sharon had given to her in New York during that taxi drive. Shinichi told her he'd get it and (we know the story) ran into disguised Vermouth.
After the flashback ended, Ran phoned Shinichi and actually asked him what he'd done with the handkerchief. Shinichi thought to himself something along the lines of "Where did I put that again..?"
This actually sounded to me like he HAD found it back then and stored it somewhere (after all those events and Ran's sickness, he simply may have forgotten about giving it back to her?).
So we could assume Shinichi STILL has that thing somwhere (in his house?).

Does it seem probable to assume it might be used for some DNA-test to prove Sharon = Chris/Vermouth?
Of course, I might be reading too much into this, but why would it have to be brought up again between Shinichi and Ran on the phone? If it's not important, why couldn't he simply lost it or given it back to Ran?

The floppy disk Haibara saved from the fire in the hotel
So, Ai never told Conan that he had saved that thing, but as seen in the Desperate Revival arc, she is holding on to it. First question that pops up is: why is she so keen not to let Conan know about it? Does she fear he'd put himself into danger being too careless with the data?
If we assume she's having access to some APTX-relevant data here, it seems logical she'd be using it for the development of the cure. She's been handing some "prototypes" to Conan already, is it safe to assume she got most of the needed info from that disk?
Also, is the data too scarce to make a "perfect" cure? (I think things present themselves that way? =D)

Shiho being a guest on Mermaid Island
I can't properly recall the case on that Mermaid Island anymore, but we get to know that Shiho was a visitor there once. Does this bear much significance? It seems too suspicious to be put in there without a reason. Is there something related to the age-reversing effect of APTX on that island?

Added, on a less "serious" note:
Yukiko possibly filming Shinichi's confession in London?
We know Yukiko likes to film Ran & Shinichi (Yuki Onna case). She was purposefully shown being around when Shinichi tried to catch up with Ran in the London arc. We might at least conclude she may have been able to witness "the scene"  ::) Any guesses whether she might have taken some "souvenir"? =P

Uhm... these are the incidents that struck me as rather noteworthy and that I can come up with at the top of my head. =)
Any comments? =)

Sharon's handkerchief ponit is really intelligent  ;)

I'd like also to add another one if you don't mind =)

In this scene
Didn't Kir have a Camera in her cloths broadcasting directly to Gin?
Didn't he see Conan or notice the strange situation?!

We know that Conan and his friends have a lot of surprises for Gin and his team
(the train case)
But what does Gin have against Conan?

Not gonna lie, I was hoping for something totally different when I saw the thread title. :x :P

I hope all these come back in satisfying ways, if Gosho chooses to bring them up again.

Other than the joke one, I also hope to see all of these come back.
Spoiler: Not sure if spoiler, just making sure
Though, Gosho remembered the tapes after all this time. So I'd say the chances of other things returning is high

I wondered about it too back when I read the chapter the first time and then found out Vodka had shut off the camera earlier: http://www.dctp.ws/V49-Reader/V49-2Read/A6.html

Haha, what DID you expect? =P

@Chekhov: Thanks, I did read that topic in parts. =) I just thought is was being more general than this, as I was trying to point out certain scenes and the other thread also discussed "obvious" things like "Identity of Anokata".

@Bahraini: Of course, you are welcome to. ;) But I guess with Chekhov's reference there, that one is cleared. =D

Hey Chek,

just checked your list and it's pretty cool. Lots of open plots I forgot.
I'd love to see some links or just hints in what case the plot was last mentioned or something like this.
And where did I miss the confirmation about Vermouth and Gin having a sexual relationship (in the past)?

I think it was during her second appearance: It's when they meet in a bar, after Gin sees through her disguise as a waiter. She asks him if he wants to "mix a martini" with her. (The drink, Martini, consists of Gin and Vermouth.)

That still doesn't confirm they had an sexual relationship.

It's still pretty heavily implied.

Sexual relationship? In a shounen? Are you guys seriously suggesting that?

And the anime censored that line (to replace it with 'Hey, tell me something, have you found the kitty that got away yet ?) which basically confirms that it referred to a sexual relationship (why else would they censor it ?).

All the powers-that-be care about is that the kids don't know that they're in one. Hence, double entendres. :P

Wait, they censored that line?

Why do I remember it so clearly...? ._. I used to only watch the anime and then caught up in the manga. I think I've only seen that part once in the manga and when I did I was like "Aha, I remember this"

MAYBE I'M JUST CRAZY
